[3.1] GLADIATOR 1H+Shield Max Block&Spell Block Tank + a BoR version

Would this be a good build to start on the new leagues with? I'm interested in ice crash or static strike starting out. Is this a cheap enough build to start off that i can clear fast and slowly get geared up? I'm not sure if i should 1h/shield, dual wield, or 2h for one of these skill.

" 1h+shield is tankier than 2h, but 2h obviously gives you more dps than 1h+shield, so it's a matter of what you prefer more. But this build is absolutely viable to start with. I'm having problem's sustaining my mana, I'm an ice crash user. Is 0.4 mana leech on one ring enough, or should I look into buying another with mana leech?

" I'd spec a couple points to get Revelry as you pass right by that wheel early on. Then regret them later if you get better gear. Or not, it's a pretty efficient use of points for this particular build just due to where it's located. 2 mana per hit from Revelry doesn't sound like much, but if you're beating on a big pack, it adds up and can cover what your regen and leech can't. And don't forget, it's 23% increased mana and a flat 20 mana add so that's going to boost your regen and your leech. For two points. | |

Thank you for the work. Your build is what I have been looking for. However, may I ask if the mod critical chance in the 1h mace you posted is necessary since we will pick Resoluted Technique which mentions "Never deal critical strikes" ?
