Thank you for sharing the build. I wanted to use another build because I play on hardcore but then I found yours and I'm using it because of the better explanation and it looks "cheaper" and easier to follow.
Can you explain please what is the different between your build and Gellig Mortezzah's build?

I'm not sure about the passive skill tree.

It looks totally different. Or am I wrong?

The last question is: How hard to get the amulet? You said it's mandatory.

I will update it even before 2.0 hits live realm. Probably a day earlier, when we'll know for sure from beta what the passive tree will be.

Sure. Gellig uses mirror worthy items and legacy uniques :D if you're new to the game, mirror worthy items are items crafted by very rich players and are worth hundreds of exalted orbs. Legacy uniques are items that have mods which do not exist in the game anymore, like Kaom's Heart with +1000 HP, for example. As you can ascertain yourself, these are very very expensive.

Yes, his tree is different because of the mirror items I mentioned above. Because they're so good and so expensive, he doesn't need to take almost any DPS nodes, but can focus only on getting as much life and block chance from the tree. If you don't have 300+ exalts, this is not something you can achieve :)


The amulet is very common and can be bought for 1 alchemy orb, or 1 chaos orb at the most:

Hi, thank for the great build, i was following your build for a while, didn't really sastify with the tankiness, since i had some regrets to spare, respeced to Gellig's tree to try it out, isn't working out tho so i think i will go back to this, but since the 2 trees are different with yours having way more damage and his having more blocks, and i love being more tanky than dmg tbh (Too lazy to use flasks every now and then), but the 18k dps tooltip static strike isn't much in my liking either, kinda greedy in my part eventho i have not the wealth, yeah
So any way to improve my build? Like taking out the unneccesary stats for dmg/health etc. I got 4 points atm to use and at lv85

My passive tree and Gear is as below:



I'm now at 4k life (This is mainly the reason i took out the mace nodes tbh), 900 ES, 7k armor (41% physical dmg reduction), and ofc max res and 21% chaos res. For all these low health/armor, i think it would be because of me being Scion (Just love playing as her so trying to make every build with her).
edit: btw My Block is at 65/49 - 69/52 (With tempest) if it's of any help

Sorry, but I'm not sure how I can help you. You want more tankiness and more DPS by losing tankiness and dps in the tree...? Just decide which you want more. You have both life and dps nodes all around you in the templar/marauder area. I can't make that decision for you.

One thing I can say: 1) being scion definitely doesn't help; 2) lightning coil in a full armour build is a pretty bad decision. LC is designed precisely for the opposite, namely, non-armour builds which have a problm with physical damage mitigation. My advice: get an armour chest.

I wanted Lightning Coil cause i thought that lack of armor nodes around Scion tree will be covered somehow with the lightning coil since i can get more Lightning res. At the time, The currency i got from that lucky Mjolner couldn't cover the cost of getting a "decent" Armor chest too. Things were like 40ish exalts least for 1.5k+ armor chests (People told me that i would need at least 1.5k armor and load of armor nodes for armor chest to have the kind of reduction LC provides)

Thought i would ask if there are nodes i would benefit or not needed with the gears i have atm. Guess i will just complete the Scion's Life nodes circle then get Skull cracking node at lv94 (Or should i get Blunt instrument for less dps and 40% armor instead?)

Can you tell me your DPS and Armor rating atm pls? Just wanna know what kind of stats i would need to facetank Abaxoth/Atziri like you do

Blunt instrument would boost your armour too, so that would be a decent choice. Not sure how much of a boost, though, since your base ar is low.

My stats: 12.2k ar without determitaion, 28k dps with 20/20 gems in a 6L. For atziri, armour makes no difference, it's block chance and ele res. I normally run a purity of fire for atziri.
