Same reason why you ever mirrored any item before : it was the best available at that time.

There are no 100% perfectly rolled items for LL ST, therefore everything you have ever mirrored was done knowing fully that the item you were getting could be better (aka divined better).

It's not, oh that could be divined 1% better - (tho should be noted - Onslaught Song is as close as you get pretty much - 5 perfect mods) it's a t2 mod when the t1 mod stills exists. Basically 5t1 + a t2.

There are still legacy titanium bases out there, but I'm not sure people are willing to dump so many et/ex into making one (pretty sure AXN hates trying to hit glyphic by now, after the wand). I doubt AXN himself would craft that shield when he already has many 6 t1 ES shields, essentially rendering his other ones useless and ultimately losing currency. All of that for a measly 20-25 flat ES increase over mine...

I'm also not sure just how many more people even need to mirror a shield at this point, there are already 51 copies of my shield in circulation and I don't know how many more people actually need one. I doubt those people would remirror a new one for a 20 flat ES bonus, especially if the fee is something ridiculous like 100ex.

Considering all of this, I don't think it is economically viable to invest into crafting a legacy tri res shield, but I salute anyone who tries to do so and I wish them luck.
