Finding Names for your Characters - List of Resources
Could these be useful? I use them a lot to build Chinese / Japanese names.
https://redfinchjapanese.com/?action=kanji_dictionary https://www.yellowbridge.com/chinese/dictionary.php I mostly use Behind the Name (first names and surnames), however. |

Just gonna put some gently-used character names into the public domain. While you may use them as you like (first come, first named, of course), I'll include class suggestions where not painfully obvious:
Danger Rangerette Death By Dart Flash Ozone (Lightning skills Shadow, though Templar would also work) Racing Shadow Please be kind to these Wraeclastian orphans which I've had to pare out of a maxed-out character list, and use them as seeds for your own character names. It often helps if you have a character build in mind, and doubly so if you're not averse to something silly, occasionally. Gonna use a unique hammer in your build? Forget Thor/Thor Odinson/Thunor... Try Maxwell Silver, or if your build is a female character, Rosie the Riveter, or Lucrezia Hammersmith. Still prefer a touch of dignity? Almost any name, common or exotic, can be paired with an obscure descriptor. Instead of Danger Rangerette, you could have Jane Toxotes, or Mary the Toxophilite (two synonyms for archer, easily found with a quick web search). Racing Shadow could become Scudder Penumbra. Naming characters doesn't have to be a chore; it can be a lot of fun, though you may end up with names which beg for a character build, like that last one. Just don't wait for the last minute to come up with one. League start, with its long queues, is a fine time to browse a few word synonym sites, or any of the many links in the OP of this thread. =^[.]^= =^[.]^= basic (happy/amused) cheetahmoticon: Whiskers/eye/tear-streak/nose/tear-streak/eye/
