ELE LIGHTNING STRIKE - ALL T16s, Shaper, Uber Atziri, HOGM, Chayula, Elder

I am wondering if there is an alternetive route to go on the gem setup. Has anyone tried something with like increase crit / crit damage etc? IF you are playing another gem setup, please post your thoughts and ideas. Thanks!

Yes bud, of course, just swap claw nodes for dagger nodes. Dagger prioritize APS, crit chance, flat lightning damage, % elemental damage or flat fire. If you can get a Shaper dagger to add prefix Gain X% of Elemental Damage as Extra Chaos Damage that is great as well - and this mod can beat added lightning or % wed for example but just check in PoB before you buy.

This is an ele build so it's easy to swap skills - you can use ST, MS, FB etc.

PoB is bugged right now buddy with Multistrike not giving the correct damage for the projectiles - it is only factoring the penalty but not the attack speed bonus for the projectile calc. Before PoB was able to calculate projectile damage correctly with MS so those are the figures for my LS projectile DPS at that time on regular mobs. The current 1.1m melee DPS is on Shaper.

If you really want to figure out your DPS wiht projectiles you can do it approximately by going into PoB and select melee LS damage and note DPS with MS, then take off MS and note new DPS for melee LS. Then switch to projectile LS (still with MS out) and multiply by the ratio

Your first upgrade needs to be Lycosidae. It will feel 100x better when you don't have to worry about missing due to accuracy.

Toddlie here some comments on your build. I think overall you are in really good shape, but some upgrades you can make to shield, gloves, and ammy.
- Flasks are very good, try swap quicksilver for Quartz if you want a bit more survivability
- Gloves are nice, if you can find Tombfist with 1 or 2 socket that would be a good upgrade, but not necessary
- Belt and jewel are very good
- Voidwalker is the end-game boot, if you can get one with a nice corruption i.e. +1 frenzy charge that would be good but it's luxury
- Rings are good, ammy can be upgraded to something with lightning / WED / crit and some more life
- Shield - as mentioned Lycosidae should be your priority upgrade item next
- Helm - once you switch to Lycosidae, I would take off Rat's Nest and get a rare EV helm with some life and res, try and get one with the LS enchant for damage
- Dagger is nice, no need to upgrade
- Chest is good, no need to upgrade

I have not tried ICD / ICC because I just optimized the links adn went with that, however when I got Loreweave I put on Blood Rage and took out Damage on Full Life for Light Pen. I think the damage setup you have now is the best for those colors, but you can play around in PoB to see which blue / red gem would be next powerful.

Some gems you could think about trying:
- Ele Focus
- Additional Accuracy if you cannot get Lycosidae
- Slower Projectiles
- ICC / ICD
- Faster Attacks

Best setup is Lightning Strike + Added Lightning + Elemental Damage with Attacks + Multistrike + two of ( Damage on Full Life / Light Pen / Ele Focus ).

If you are doing t14+ bosses I would recommend going for Ele Focus (see Shock section), if you are having trouble with degen don't use Damage on Full Life.

Crit super important, try to get around 50% crit chance before Diamond flask.
