Does choir of the storm's extra crit chance work on your 75% lightning res or also on the overcap lightning res (for example, 135%)?

Im trying this and i really like the playstyle and the skillgem, but as soon as i finished the story and started mapping i faced massive problems. I just have 3,5k life and literally everything 1shots or 2shots me and i have no idea how to progress or how to get more life

" Hi bud, sorry to hear about that - not sure what maps you are trying but you need to play safe until you finish up your life nodes (Written in Blood adn Nullification) - that will get you to about 3.8k HP, then adding extra levels will add about 30 hp per level (so 10 levels will give you 300 extra hp). Then if you can add jewels wiht +35 life (right now you have no jewels with life so this would be good for you to add) - this will add 100hp or so per jewel. If you get 5 such jewels that is about 500 or so hp - so you'll be at about 5k hp all in all by the time you hit level 90. Last edited by Ceryneian on Mar 18, 2018, 8:15:51 PM

Hello I have some problems or I don't understand well the builds somethimes I get one shoted at boss, tho I don`t face tank I even swaped the normal tree with Val one I don't see such a big difference some hp here and there and one more charge.
I simply don't know atm what I'm doing wrong there is my POB need some help I would really love it <3 Belly is to much at around 8 ex 6L , So I was thinking of using Kintsugi since anyway we're kinda range, don't know yet about it need some advice :D tho I really love that non val pact tree more dps more fun <3 But I really don't know what to do to advance, stucked at t13 atm. Thank!! " Start with your items from the top: Dagger - Good Shield - You're only at 82% hit rate in a crit build which is VERY bad. Get Lycosidae ASAP. Helmet - Fine Body Armor - Dump Skin of the Loyal. Get a corrupted 6s in the colors you need with a big life roll and a big cold resist roll. You could probably find one with another resist roll as well. Cost you less than 50c Gloves - Dump Thunderfist for a 1s Tombfist. Put in a damage/life/resist jewel in it on a Murdeous Eye Jewel Rings - One has no life but they're probably fine for right now Belt - Good Jewels - You have 1 jewel with no life on it and 3 of the 5 with no resists You're damage is quite a bit lower than it should be. With the changes I suggested you can get your resists up, put Lycosidae in for almost 50% more damage and walk away with about 500hp more than your paste bin shows. Just wanted to give a quick shout out here. I started this league with a SST character but ended up respeccing into this one since SST didnt feel that nice to me in maps. I already considered this build last league but ended up trying it now.
Overall had a decent experience with it. I played up to T16 and killed Phoenix with it using decent gear. 5-link Belly+Lycosidae+Tombfist+Starkonja's + rest rares. At 6,3k health now which feels good enough. Still room to improve damage with jewels and 6-link and so on but unfortunately after some playtime I've also started getting annoyed with certain things. For the most part I just dislike multistrike and Ive found myself cursing it every now and then and especially in laggy situations, when you are stuck in the animation and cant escape scary situations :). And also lightning strike being stopped by every single ground environment gets pretty annoying. So yea I had fun with it but moving on to something else now. Thanks for the guide though! | |
