Im starting mapping and no problem for now, im dying some time only in narrow place and for my fault (facetank too often lol). The glass cannon feeling is strong but i think its normal with normal/bad gear and at this level with low damage.

" Buddy buddy, what's going on here - you have no lightnign damage on your dagger at all -_- - Please get a dagger with some added lightning damage - Your belt is sick though, very nice - Rings - need to have some with added lightning damage, or % ele damage, this why I suggest Opal ring - Same for amulet. If you can try Hinekora's Sight to boost your accuracy. If you can't get this let me know, because you may have to get more accuracy on the tree - Shield - need to upgrade to something like an EV shield with life and res or a Lycosidae if you can get one (if you do drop the Hinekora Sight ofc) - Forces of Nature? Wise Oak? You need some ele/light pen bud - Helm is good, quality it up and 4 link it and put some CWDT setup or put Vaal Grace / Vaal Haste or Ancestral totem - Chest could do wiht more life - Why no Diamond flask? This is the highest damage flask for this build and should be in your kit ASAP - Do you really need 3 life flask? Quicksilver - I don't think you really need, try a Silver flask which will give you some Onslaught (will be even better once you spec Avatar of Chase). " Yes I caan craft crit chance on it. Was going to anyway. I'm thinking of using this and adding inpulsa, but have no idea what to socket inside said inpulsa. Can probably use rare boots cuz I lose out on defenses? I don't really know. Maybe using some HoT setup? Gonna scoure that crit til it's max though... " Thanks bud for providing some commentary, aye narrow spaces are a bit of a pain with this build - you can see on Chayula map it can be a bit difficult if hardly any of your projectiles are getting through =(. Yeah unfortunately if you want to facetank you need to be using Blind as just having EV + dodge is not going to be enough for an EV melee build (need to add block or at least Blind). | |
" Thanks bro, I haven't used Inpulsa yet, I don't think it is necessary for this build but several other people on this build seem to be liking it. Core gear really needs to be Thunderfists, Choir of the Storm, and Voidwalker/Wake of Destruction/Darkrays, and Lycosidae. Other items can be rares or uniques depending on what you need/have available/want to try. In terms of sockets - I would keep the chest as six link for your main LS (is your chest 6L?), then use the dagger for a supplementary skill like Frostblades to help with clearing trash for maps that are a pain for LS. Or put LS on your dagger, and then use your 5l/6l chest for a utility skill: something like LS/FB that can apply curse (PW/Assassin's Mark/Temp Chains) and also generate power charges (add PCOC) + has Fortify. You don't think inpulsa can come instead of thunderfist? Is the added dmg on the gloves higher then what inpulsa adds?

" Good question bud, will have to confirm on PoB but to be honest I don't like having too many conditional buffs. To get the Inpulsa damage buff with "shock enemy recently" you will have to take off ele focus and use light pen gem, and also depends what roll you get on Inpulsa. I don't have access to PoB atm but if you try to make the below changes and compare to the default build will give a sense of the DPS comparison: - Remove Thunderfists - put in a rare EV glove or another unique glove - Remove EV chest - put in Inpulsa - Links - remove Ele Focus, put in Light Pen - Compare DPS - Cross-check flasks to see if using a VoV will give you better DPS than one of the flasks (Wise Oak, Diamond, Silver, Atziri's Promise), as Inpulsa allows you to use VoV without having to get shock immunity Last edited by Ceryneian on Dec 22, 2017, 7:35:30 AM
