why not replacing damage on full life for slower projectiles? Watching the HOGM video you are not very often on full life. Green slot would also help if you want to put BCR or even culling strike.

But for T16 bosses I don't rely on shock since you need extremely high damage to get good shock (see shock tables in guide) on these bosses which is why I run ele focus instead. So depends on how much increased damage and increased shock effect it can give, but still a good chest for this build. | |
" Hi bud, HOGM is really not a good benchmark for this build unless you customize it specifically for pvp. All I did was just swap some flasks and added a 3 link scorching ray and tried to yolo the map. There's a lot of crazy stuff and troll builds on HOGM, and with PVP scaling leech gets reduced vs your HP. Yes slower projectiles, BCR, or culling strike would be all good bud. But even with BCR - some of those guys you still cannot kill unless you use a degen skill. Are you trying to use this build to farm HOGM? The foundation is there to make it work, there are a few things I would tweak specifically if you want to farm HOGM. On regular maps I am nearly always on full life and the loss in DPS for 5% of the time vs gain in DPS I get 95% of the time is a good tradeoff. And with Vinktar's and Vaal Pact it is even better ofc | |

" Hi bud, your gear is good. you don't need to use Rat's Nest if you have trouble with res. How are you dying in 1 hit on t13s? Unless you are trying to tank bosses in Melee and are using vinktar with no shock immunity don't see how you are dying. What is your tree? | |

Bro I took a look at your tree, you should be specc'd Avatar of Veil if you want to use Vinktar's otherwise you are shocking yourself and taking 50% more damage from everything.
OR You can roll shock immunity (of Grounding) on one of your flasks. But you will need to match that flask with how you use Vinktar's so that it is not empty when you want to use Vinktar. | |

I really appreciate the amount of work you have done on this build. I've been looking for something new and failed at a SSF lightning strike build. I'm going to test this for the rest of this league and probably use in 3.1.
However I don't understand 2 choices that I am hoping you can explain or elaborate on. 1. Wouldn't claws be better than daggers? More leech + more elemental damage with virtually same crit. 2. Why avatar of chase over avatar of veil? This could be a preference thing, but I'm very curious. What about veil over all the frenzy charges? They only buff attack damage right? Are the projectiles consider attacks as well? I may be missing something but those seem like upgrades to me. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! |
