I see you're using Legacy Voidwalkers. In 3.0 they now only pierce five additional targets. Would they be worth using in a temporary league? Projectile Weakness pierces all cursed targets I was thinking it would be better to swap this curse for the boots. Then you can keep Wake of Destruction.

" Hi bud. Thanks, and welcome back! 5 target pierce is still extremely good. To get 5 target pierce you would otherwise need the top tier LS enchant + 3 points on tree. I would recommend maybe first try Wake of Destruction, and you might find it fine already for your clearing with Projectile Weakness, if you want to clear faster then upgrade to Voidwalker. Projectile Weakness is only level 10 linked to a level 7 CWDT, so it would proc if you take 1k damage. Boots are not strictly tied to Wake of Destruction or Voidwalkers. Other options to try are Kaom's Boots. As long as you can get a good enchant on the boots either for ele pen or for added lightning damage if you have not killed recently - they help add some extra damage for bosses. Some changes - wanted to get some frenzy charges into the build, have specc'd to Raider Slaughter + Chase paths, and removed VoV - was testing on T15 and T16s, even though it gave me 20% light leech, it dropped off in long fights, and the VoV shock was useless since I play at range. At least now I can get 4 frenzy charges up almost immediately vs. packs, and have frenzy chance on hit vs. bosses. Then replaced VoV with Atziri's flask which is giving me more DPS than a VoV on the Raider Slaughter + Chase. as well as good leech, and 2 uses per fill. Removed Blind from my Gloves and added Ancestral Protector. Will run some more tests and then update the guide.

Shaper down xD. Epic battle but I lost concentration at the end. Had Cull on my Whirling Blades. Someone with more skill can definitely do him deathless xD.

Oh finally a build for ranger that doesn't use a bow or that isn't a wander.
On a second note, would it be advisable to use HH for this build if I can cap resists with helm, rings and chest piece? | |
" Thanks bud, aye for sure headhunter would be quite sick on this build since lightning strike clears so fast you'll get a ton of buffs. Also means you can probably save on the 30 Str node I took. Although I must say, if you have currency and already have headhunter I would just build this as phys lightning strike with a GG dagger and some GG jewelry and rings. That's a scary build because you have more options to scale the phys (abyssus, gems, lions roar etc.) AND with LS you can convert 100% of your phys to lightning, and then have lightning penetration on top of that oO. Can also add chaos and cold (Hatred/Taste of Hate) as % of your phys. With this ele version I can't freeze, only shock. |
