Descent sucks... and so do I

Can I just say, as a bit of a noob at racing I picked up some great tips reading this thread? The AoE stuff, which class to play and quick choices on equipment are stellar, and just killing the stuff in your way also great advice. And while it all seems very obvious to most of you I'm sure, for the very casual gamer like myself, who only gets to do a couple of races a fortnight, this kind of advice means the difference between getting no points in a race and getting a few each time, which will add up to an actual race reward... Looking forward to that day with undisguised glee!
