I do not agree with the corelation that op claims to be.

Some encounters, specially when new, were too hard for some, inlcuding myself, way before XP death penalty in this encouter be nulified. So, pointing that because of the end of death penalty the new bosses encounters have been harder seems to me to be untrue.

Considering it started significantly worse in 0.1.0 and has been easing up over time, I think the community at large thinks a lot differently from you. :P
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

The others found strength in their Afflictions. They became reliant on juice. I am not so foolish.

tbh i wanted poe2 to be more punishing, and i really like poe2 concept of killing the boss in a single try.

and i dont know if you're bringing it up to one up me because GGG did in fact make POE2 boss fights easier. the game started of with only 1 try. you have one shot and thats it.

now?

ggg actually listened to player feedback where many players felt it was too punishing and actually let players have multiple attempts. tho unlike poe1 you the boss life is reset back to full.

ggg also gave ways to make players who played better be able to remove all the additional portal attempts to get more rewards. so ggg gave both playerbases a good deal.

and yeah in poe2 boss deaths also carry no xp penalty so thanks for adding to my point :)
