The idea of removing Standard or resetting everything periodically is not a good one, because it ignores a fundamental point: players in this league greatly value the progress they have already achieved and the builds they have developed over time. For those who play Standard regularly, continuity is one of the main reasons to stay engaged with the game. Unlike temporary leagues, where the focus is on starting over, Standard is about evolving what has already been built. This difference in perspective may come from the fact that some players prefer the league model, while others identify more with Standard.
