Guys, just relax, next week we will have a clear update from them 100%, they said end of april will be the announcement about 0.5.0, it means that the announcement will be made when they said, last week of april. This upcoming week, should be the announcement (a small teaser, probably on 23/24apr, this upcoming week) of the announcement (the livestream with the game directors and QA) that might be on 30apr.

They launched previous leagues at 1week after the livestream presentation and QA (on both poe1 and poe2), so it should be live/playable on 8may.

Patience is a virtue. I`m sure that 0.5.0 will worth this waiting.

Trust me, they are more anxious to roll it on time than we are.

And yes, the HYPE is real! And this hype must be, somehow, created too ;)

don't get too hyped, last year we got 0.2 after all the waiting :)

also, people should buy and play diablo 1, it's a great game.

GIVE US 0.5 TEASERS GGG nekohyper

If we get teaser next week then this means we are not getting the new league even in May or maybe at best after mid May which makes more than 6 weeks more than the 4 months cycle.. all this is because they want poe1 league to stay alive for more time...i really don`t get that...
to not care that your main game and yes, poe2 is they main game right now is in dead phase... its very strange to me. Is that hard to make something that hype is even mid season? is that hard really? think on that.

I think the announcement will be a delay. If they keep the timeline mentioned in Feb, the livestream is in at most 9 days from now. That would also be about 48 hours after a big rival game's expansion goes live.

1 week delay (main announcement 07-May in US timezones) makes sense even if the expansion is complete.

In max 3days from now we will have the announcement of the live stream presentation of the 0.5.0 with a small video teaser, that will be 1week away from this initial announcement.

After the live presentation, as they did before, the patch will go live after another 1week.

That other game, others are are referring to, is light years behind Path of Exile, as game play, as complexity, as dopamine deliver. Therefore the competition between them is 0, PoE has and always had its own players. Never heard of one gammer going from PoE to any other ARPG game and saying that one is better, but the gammers that moved from other ARPG game to PoE never went back to that other ARPG game they came from. PoE1 is the Queen, PoE2 is the King in this ARPG genre, the rest are just trying to keep up, whatever random dubious accounts are trying to manipulate in this forum.

This being said, i expect for the patch to be live on 8th of May.
