Bugged chest ruins PoE's economy

This stupid chest should have been fixed YEARS ago. I do not understand why they keep ignoring this problem? Why they refuse to address such a blatant imbalanced piece of garbage? This is not a legacy item that legitimately existed in the game at some point and then had to be nerfed. Nothing of the sort, it's simply a byproduct of a bug that created an overflow number for the fire resistance modifier which happens to interact with other existing in-game mechanics in an absolutely broken way which warps the entire Standard meta around it because nothing can stand a chance to compete against builds that use it. It's a literal cheat code.
The concerns over this item have been voiced over and over... Stop ignoring this and do what should have been done as soon as it went public. It's no different than the overflow implicit sceptres, rare flasks or 6L Squires which you so promptly have fixed before. |

Devs rush to instantly fix mechanics they think are too strong, explaining it as "keeping game balance", but they ignore the obvious elephant in the room that every experienced player knows about. They destroy my collection of legacy maps or other random items I accumulated for posterity... but they leave something THIS broken in the game? It's absurd. Normally I am very much on board with leaving legacy things alone for collectors, but this chest piece? This is simply stupid. It needs to be wiped.

My problem with this chest isn't that it's a bug, but that it's so overpowered that all other build types are overshadowed. It's so strong that it trivializes all the content, it's extremely fast, melts bosses without even needing to use its mechanics, it can tank any uber boss slam, any map with any mod in 100% delirium... and the most absurd thing is that it's still MF....hahahaha
Seriously, does anyone find this fun? Playing with only one type of build forever is fun? It's not about taking a good item from the player, I have this item and I can buy 4 more of these chests if I want, the point is that this ruins the diversity of builds and proper gameplay flow. I feel like the game is dead, there's no point in playing anymore because there's nothing left to look for... |

GGG and 99.999% of players do not care about standard. It's really that simple.

" Not sure about that. A lot of stuff gets nerfed or deleted all the time, which affects Standard the most. I'd say they care about Standard for the most part, often deleting items that were obtained legitimately without exploiting, due to past game mechanics.
