Extreme networking issues, virtually unplayable in maps, problems to PoE server route

California. Same here. Completely unplayable for the past 30 minutes. I give up for now.
How do I find the instance address, is it in the log file? What line would it be under?
Just press Ctrl + F and paste the phrase
"
Connecting to instance server at

There will likely be multiple results. Every time you navigate the game world through loading screens, you enter a new instance, possibly even a new server, which may be physically located elsewhere and the path to it may be different.

Testing your connection

1) Obtain an IP address/URL to test:

Instance Servers
In-game, enter the problematic instance with your character
Open your client logs (located at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Grinding Gear Games\Path of Exile\logs\Client.txt" by default)
Find the last entry for "Connecting to instance server at <IP ADDRESS>:<PORT>" and grab the IP address:

I'm so tired of Sao Paulo servers. You see streamers, ZERO PROBLEMS. But no, common people still with server issues. And no, it's not my internet.
Ok, so I ran another WinMTR for the Server instance for the Dunes map I was running and got the following.

There's packet loss at every hop it seems but starts with my modem/router? Can anyone make sense of this?

I can watch Fubgun do the same content as me with ZERO issues. I don't see any of these problems with any streamers now that I think about it.

That's not true. I found a video of the ping in less than a minute.

The test needs to be run longer. It's not yet clear whether the problem is on the first node.

It could also be a server issue.

An Update on Server Instability

Since the launch of 3.28, many players have been getting repeated disconnections from our game servers. This is the result of some very persistent and targeted DDoS attacks that have been directed at our game backend.

While we don't want to give any specific details which might serve to help the attackers, we want to assure you that this is our server team's highest priority, and we are in constant contact with our server providers who have been deploying mitigations for these attacks. While we have seen some improvements due to these countermeasures, this will not be considered resolved until these disconnections stop.

We want to apologise for the disruption and will attempt to resolve this as quickly as possible.

The video may appear smoother than it actually is. Also, according to the wiki, there are some ways to mitigate this issue. Try to understand the essence of the article, maybe it will help you somehow.

I can assure you, if I recorded gameplay footage it would look nothing like the gameplay you just shared of Fubgun. Comparatively it is substantially more playable and in the minute or so I watch of your link, I didn't notice anything significant.

That isn't a good enough example so perhaps a minute wasn't spent long enough looking.

The article you reference has /oos listed as an option I will try that.

ping up to 575. This is a huge ping. And it's not even the ping that's the issue, but its instability. You can play in predictive mode with a high ping, but a stable ping is crucial there.

That article mentions using utilities that automate the process. Please don't use them, as they could result in a ban.
