" This. I've been running Delve since it was introduced. Not exclusively of course, but I've usually made it down to at least 800-900 depth just for the fun of it, profits be damned. There were leagues where the rewards were kinda nice. In pre-nerf Adorned times the vaal aspect from the delve boss went for ~12d, plus Doryanis Machinarium was crazy expensive whenever it was required for challenge completion. Then there's the Precursor rings, some rare fossils... So yeah, not competitive with min-maxed farming strats, but enough to keep this exile digging :) As for next league... I think people will be surprised about the demand of fossils for basic crafting. In the latest patch note update they said that fossil drops from behind fractured walls will be significantly buffed, but we'll see how it shakes out in the end. |

" For me personally my only must have nodes are the strong box nodes with map and divination doubling and than the starting nodes with +1 essence and strong box in your maps. Getting the essence one at the start helps a lot with gearing and the strong box one is solid and over the course of all your maps adds up to a lot of extra monsters. They are great nodes to take right away to add stuff to your maps while you travel to w/e you want to spec into later on. |

" Mandatory nodes in the atlas vary by league, and are always have exceptions. But: 1. Increased effect of map explicit modifiers (map mod effect) This = more quant, more packsize, more rarity, etc. As well as more difficulty. 2. Increased pack size/magic monsters in maps (formerly map mod effect nodes) 3. Majority of players will take red or blue eldritch and use all/most of the associated pack size nodes. This = more overall juice 4. Increased scarabs or chance to increase dropped map tier level are the 2 generic loot "filler" nodes. Any extra nodes you have after spec'ing into whatever league mechanic you are running, you are generally taking the valuable scarab nodes, and either the lesser scarab nodes, or the map tier nodes, depending on value of nightmare/originator maps. “Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.”
