[3.28] Enki's Blood Sacrament Ascendant - Relic of the Pact done right!

Hello,
Any idea of what to cut if I'm going medium budget build ?
I thought I could try apostate level 95 but double cluster jewel setup needs level 99.
Thank you

This build seems really cool, definitely gonna give it a go tomorrow, I've already started leveling a scion! I was pining for a cool scion build, she's my favourite of the characters but has really fallen out of the meta, and the new ascendency was a bit too much of a meme/puzzle for me.

What do you think of this by the way: at first glance the new belt with massive shrine seems like it might be a great addition if it's possible to manage the resists without the belt slot? They are very cheap with just the single massive shrine, and on the budget setup it adds around 1400 extra life over the stygian. Worth a shot?

This was such a great idea, i tried it and its very very good, i was using cored belt first instead of stygian and yes this belt gave like 1.5k life. Not sure if it would be better over cord belt and flasks in mapping but for bossing it feels nice

Edit: Im using brutal and massive shrine combo

Nice! I've been playing with it for a day or so too - I went for greater shocking for my second shrine since it gives a bit of shrine effect and 15% shocked ground at close range which definitely does something sometimes. The lightning shrine also gives 35% phys gained as lightning which is something I'm playing with, it's definitely a dps increase if using Cruelty or Increased Crit Damage vs Brutality but the downside is that we can't do ele reflect any more. I'm leaning towards Cruelty even tho it's less damage because it keeps the red socket open to swap back to Brutality for ele reflect, and Crit Dam is a bit less reservation which I'm wondering how much it ends up actually impacting the damage in a practical sense vs a PoB one.

From your other post you're definitely a lot richer than me and pushing this build deep. How are you finding the survivability without Aul bloodline for the various immunities? Are you using reckless defence anyway and just getting crit sometimes? I haven't actually managed to find Aul yet anyway and don't really wanna spend a ton of divs for a carry when I'm still poor. Getting a third ring slot and poison immunity might be a nice option, even with a ring that only gives 100 or so life.

So far the build is a lot of fun. I've been experimenting with using frost blink instead of flame dash, obviously it only has one use but I think it has longer range and it gets insanely fast recharge when teleporting in to packs, plus since we have very high spell crit it freezes them a lot of the time. Biggest downside of the build as a whole is that I just randomly die sometimes, I'm still trying to figure out what exactly is happening and what I'm supposed to be avoiding/what the limits are, plus having to run around in a panic if I take too much damage and I can't attack any more. Using the belt is very good but does mean a slow base walking speed, though can still just accept that it's gonna be off and use potions to run fast in low density areas of course and using movement skill for most movement anyway.

I'm currently working on leveling up a bit more and then prepping to swap over to 2x cluster jewels + the lethal pride and transcendent flesh setup.

Im mostly doing uber sirus so im not getting that affected, i just ran a juiced t16.5 breach with 40% deli 2x instability 1x lineage 1x wisps 1x cascade and i think it cleared fine? i was one shotting everything even breach boss i died twice the map had less aoe and im not even maxxed on one of my res lol, im sure aul might have saved me just not worth for bossing imo

I did some updates for bossing specifically!

I took king of the mist ascendancy to get a 3rd ring slot if no falsks and used the new shrine belt with massive and brutal on it, manifold ring 2x then essence in third slot and got a flat life light of meaning and a foulborn red dream then tattooed 7 nodes into fire to get the hp bonus, at around 29k i think

That's a pretty nice alternative setup for bossing. If you can get your hands on it, Massive + Resonating Shrine would probably be even better to burst down ubers.

I've also been experimenting with Screams of the Desiccated, the massive increase in AoE alone makes it very worth it for all content pretty much. Hope the belt will stay in the game after this league.

The random deaths happen when you end up taking too much damage while casting. It's more of a problem in the beginning, and will get better as you stack more life, block, damage reductions and immunities (from Aul). Another thing you can do is always try to stay behind rares/bosses and generally keep your distance to enemies while casting, just to lower the chances of getting hit while casting.

For now you could skip Iron Will, the maxblock and crit multi per ES on shield masteries and either a life node or +30 int if you can get enough on gear.

I had been playing CwC Icestorm for the last 3 or 4 years and it was by far one of my favorites builds in over a decade of playing, but I decided to give this a shot due to the nerfs to Int/ES this league. I transitioned from my HFT league starter to this without too much hassle since a lot of the travel nodes were pretty similar. I'm sure glad I did because it's been a blast (pun intended), much like Arc Witch from a lifetime ago.

The downsides are definitely unique, and occasionally annoying, but well worth it considering both the clear speed and single target damage this build has, on top of being pretty durable. It's also great QoL to take advantage of Precursor's Release to just ignore some of the more annoying things in this game.

Excellent job Enki.

oo thats a good shout ill try to get my hands on one!! do you have any other ideas on how to scale it more of bossing only?
The last time i played path of exile 1 my build was "the Enki's arc witch with the impulsa. I just come back to this game because i saw you streaming this build. Great build really fun to play. Thanks again keep it up doin what ur doin
Hey Enki or folks that have tried this build. What level do you recommend swapping? Like beside the level requirement in the items, what is the "feel good" level to swap over to this build? Currently leveling with sunder
I didn't follow your build, but I stumbled upon way later on, and see that your idea of it matches the general idea of it.

I must say that this is the most fun I ever had in Path of Exile (playing since the early days), the strongest I ever was, able to do all content, farmed multiple mirrors of value (basically I'm at the point where I'm turning time into currency/roll the dice for progenesis drop, etc.)

The build is very simple, after you get it going, it's a (literal) one-button build, where you have one button to cast your Blood Sacrament, and optionally you can use a single Flame Dash if you want to have that dash ability.

Everything else is empty sockets, with Pride in your Essence Worm as the only other gem (which is just an aura, not a cast skill).

Basically rivals things like RF when it comes to number of things you need to press.

The damage is absurd, you can scale it exponentially, no cap. At one point, you'll be so invested into damage, that you will die here and there (the whole build revolves on reserving as much H as you can, meaning that temporarily you go down to few % of HP, giving the small opportunity to high damage to kill you) but the damage is enough to clear any content you want. Who cares if I died one time in a Uber Maven fight if I can clear it fast? Technically, you can drop some damage to keep 75% block (giving you a ton more survivability) but if it isn't 100%, then who cares? Besides, you play Gladiator version then, with the lucky block, not Scion.

All in all, the best experience in the game I've had, and I would recommend it to everyone.

@Enki, do you think BiS is Mageblood or one of the new belts?
