A way of changing catalysts on mirrored items

The introduction of Dextral Catalyst begs the question of introducing a way of changing catalysts after an item has been mirrored, similar to the Reflective Oil which fulfills this role for anoints.
While the opportunity cost of applying a catalyst to your mirrored items before mirroring them is much lower than of anoints, this new catalyst makes a few of the older catalysts obsolete on certain base types. Since oils received their Reflective Oil, can catalysts in turn have something of similar essence, that would allow "re-catalysing" of mirrored items?
