Keep dying from corrupted blood. WTF bros!!!

Can any experienced player give me some good advice on how to upgrade my character so i don't keep dying from lame monsters that inflict corrupted blood on my ass???!!!

Let me know how to share my character stats etc as I have no idea.

Think of it as a tax, like having a default of -60% of a resistance.

Buy a jewel that stops you from being inflicted with it and consider it job done.

ok......now.....how do i give my chaos orbs to a person? I'm OLD AF and don't know how to work this buy/sell stuff.
I'm at work right now. Do I have to be "in game" to get these jewels from another player?

P.S. I also die sometimes when a corpse blows up after i kill some monsters. WTF is that crap? Is my health too low?

You would need to be in-game, yes.

I'm unsure of how you can trade with other players because you've not said what platform you play on. Path of Exile is available for Windows, macOS (would not recommend...), Xbox, and PlayStation.

Ok i'll check this out later tonight and get a gem. I'm on windows for the game so I'll tinker with the buy/sell/trade option in the game and hopefully wont die anymore from corrupted blood and can die from something else for a change!

Hello, if you are in game with another player trading back and forth is easy. In Windows:

Hit S to bring up friends list. right click in their name and invite into a party. If they are not on your friends list, open chat with them and right click on their name and invite them to a party.

Get together in one of your Hideouts.

Put the items you want to give or trade away in your inventory.

Right click on their chat name and choose trade

When the window opens Ctrl click the items to put them into the trade window.

Click approve when all items are there.

up at the top you can click trade -> search items.

it can be hard at first. select your league on the top of that page, then youre looking for "stat filters" either on the right or at the bottom of that page. click it and start typing in corrupted blood. select the <implicit> corrupted blood cannot be inflicted on you. that'll filter only items with that mod. you can add more if you like (life, resists, damage etc) but thats a bit advanced at first (ie jewels can only have certain mods so adding too many or mods jewels cant have will not generate any items).

fast tip is to start any stat filter with ~ and you wont have to type exactly the right combination of letters.

this probably seems overwhelming lol, play around with it a bit and you'll figure it out eventually like we all do. best of luck.

You can also use the Protection Mastery until you get the jewel (e.g., on the Tolerance notable.) Or, if you have vaal orbs, try your luck by corrupting random jewels until you hit the implicit. You don't necessarily need to buy one.

Personally I just always alt (use alteration orbs) one of my life flasks to have the corrupted blood temporary immunity; I find I can always press it fast enoguh when I need to cover me.

What this guy said, Protection Mastery, Corrupted blood cannot be inflicted.
