Performance is getting worse with every patch

And then we have all the particle effects that also have 0 optimization.
There should be a graphics option to disable all the effects like delirium,eagon map petals,bismuth etc. because you stack enough layers of that and the game will just run bad on anything lul


From what I can tell, most replies come from people that have 0 clue what they're talking about.
I won't say that the game is poorly optimized, it actually is getting better and cleaner, but there are still parts of the architecture that need to be revised urgently.

Although some issues are asset related, a lot of the crashes and freezes people have been having is something else that has nothing to do with particles or graphics in general, but I won't go into further detail on this, let's just say there are easy ways of confirming this. Hopefully GGG discovers where the bottlenecks are and fixes them.

Doesn't surprised me it's taking a while to solve most performance issues, beautiful spaghetti code.
Pff, who even plays Standard?
