Gotta say I'm pretty disappointed with the "date based updates" we were supposed to get every 4 months. That was, as the kids used to say, an "epic fail"

They said they would announce at the end of April they still have a few days left, but the same when making the announcement ending the month means that we will have the 0.5 in May

2035 is Diablo 6 launch so 0.5 will be delayed

I see a lot of non sense comments..
Everyone that has bought the game has the right to share his opinion, but.....


Don't compare the Poe 1 combat with Poe 2. They both great games, but Path of Exile 2 it's an unpolished gem in combat, it's almost perfect, i can't say the same of Poe1, and who played a lot of that game knows what i'm talking about.

Don't judge a game that it's almost half way trough early access ( And it's delivering already more than every A-RPG out there already launched ). We are almost at 0.5, don't forget!

Don't blame the game because you are comparing Poe2 with other A-RPG, it's you're mistake that you can't do differences.
This is not a normal A-RPG game, this is not for everyone, you can't learn it in 2 weeks like the other A-RPG out there (excluding diablo 2 and poe1). TAKE YOU'RE TIME, don't blame the developers because of you're skills.

And the most important one, you can't make everyone Happy when you are a Game Company, you must choose wisely, there is so much work behind a game that some of you can't even imagine.. They are humans behind, not aliens..

You're missing the point. This isn't about whether D4 and PoE are the same kind of game. It's about how absurdly slow GGG is moving.

GGG takes forever to do everything, Jonathan keeps pushing his own vision, and a large part of the community clearly isn't buying it. People are judging the game as it exists now, not some imaginary perfect version years down the line.

Right now D4 is bigger, more complete, and actually finished. By the time PoE 2 finally reaches a proper full release at this pace, Blizzard will probably already have D5 or D6 expansions, and half a dozen more content drops out. Then we can compare PoE 2 not just to D4, but to D4 plus everything that came after it - D4+D5+D6 with whole DLC

And yes, for a game that's already been in development for four years, the current state is mediocre at best. This is the kind of progress people expect from a small indie studio, not from GGG.
