Game + option

I think an option to create a new character that would start as a lvl 68 with campaign done would be a great option.
Even if the character starts with only the basic weapon and no passives quest done (only the necessary quest for campaign progression and no rewards from those quests either.) Should be only for non hardcore (defeats the purpose of hardcore) and after completing some of the end game content, like after getting 2 void stones. I personally like trying new builds or create some for my own amusement, but leveling a character every time is time consuming and mind numbing. I have created and leveled over 20 characters this league (3.27) alone and still planning to do more. This would be the greatest quality of life improvement for me and most likely others I assume. Yeeah +1
Some form of campaign skip or alt leveling method is needed badly. I'm just not gonna play more than 1 build per league until this changes. |

" This is what leveling gear/uniques exists for to push the campaign in under a few hours. Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

WoW has a character level boost.
“Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.”

" My point. No level boosting. I'm not against being able to skip campaign, but you should have to do it at lvl 1. “Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.”

" Still takes me like 5-6 hours to do campaign even with full gear and following a guide using volcanic fissure of snaking with hollow palm. We're not all speedrunners sadly, and this is a simple QOL that is already in other games. We also used to have to do lab trials on every character, but they made that account-wide a while ago. If they want the average player to have any motivation or incentive to try out different builds in a league then campaign skip is needed, the 10 acts have been in the game for ages and its just super easy to get burned out on the campaign even after 1 character per league. |

Its your mindset about the campaign. The campaign is fine. 6 hours isn't bad for a sctrade player.

" If you have leveling gear ready pushing an alt through the campaign shouldn't take longer than 3h, and that's already the non soeedrun chill play duration. Now if you go even full speedrun and have a friend help you it really shouldn't take more than 2h to get you from level 1-80+, which is a solid time for getting an alt going considering that you will be able to equip most items after the 2h. But even without the help getting an alt up is pretty fast and not much of a problem. Even doing the camping on fresh start without gear is a smooth going so I don't know. Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun. Last edited by Pashid#4643 on Dec 8, 2025, 9:07:31 PM

" The key difference is that WoW is an MMORPG with a much greater emphasis on story and leveling, at least it used to be. No idea how the modern trash of Warcraft looks like. In that context, offering a story skip makes sense because there is simply so much content to get through. By contrast, in PoE the campaign is already quite short if you play efficiently, and having access to leveling gear for your alts reduces the time required to almost nothing. Instead of asking for a story skip, it would be far better to request an alternative leveling method, such as an endless delve or an early map-like system that allows you to continuously run random maps with area levels scaled to your character. Skill points and pantheon bonuses could unlock automatically at specific milestones. This approach seems far more feasible than demanding instant gratification for something that is already quite manageable. " If you followed a proper leveling guide and did your prep, you should be able to clear the campaign in under four hours, even without any speedrunner godgamer pace. But please do not tell me you tried leveling Hollow Palm VF on a Hierophant. " Be careful with how you use the term QoL, because making the game easier is not the same as a quality of life improvement. " The average player who wants to try multiple builds in a league is not really held back by the campaign. In fact, having to redo it is barely an issue, because by the time you are on your second or third character you already have access to leveling gear that makes the process much faster. Most players simply rush through the acts and move on, because realistically, not everyone abandons the game after week two without genuinely engaging with it, only to complain about a hundred trivial issues that are hardly problems to begin with. Once you have access to leveling gear, every new character becomes noticeably faster than a fresh league start, and that pace is already generous. A far better alternative than giving a full campaign skip would be to unlock the mines at level 1 and let players level their alts there, gaining passive points in the same way as the endless delve event. That would offer a fun and meaningful alternative route to leveling without simply handing everything out for free. Even getting a campaign skip after reaching a level 100 character during a league would still feel excessive.
