IF they were going to change it (not convinced they should), some possible alternatives that maintain the spirit of the mod:
1. All damaging skills have a shared cooldown of an additional 0.5 seconds. 2. 3 seconds out of every 10 seconds, monsters take 90% less damage from all sources. “Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.” Last edited by Piousqd#0073 on Nov 18, 2025, 6:59:28 PM

" I like those! First one would be my favourite out of the two. I think my main issue with the current implementation of the mod is how it completely ruins builds that require consistent hits for leech uptime and the lack of counterplay. Adding a cooldown gives back agency to the player which should always be the right choice. The mod will still be much better handled by builds that have multiple movement skills and less actions, such as bleed slams or RF. Currently popular builds like KBoC however would have to roll over it as they need to spam their main ability many times per second and would thus be hit harder. There's also the question how map mod effect would affect this, and how bad really it'd get. Interesting! The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.
