as a bosser the game is kind of miserable in its current trade state

i play low life zhp bossers, with the new async trade it make things super miserable. you need gold for everything, bossing doesnt really give gold. im happy if i get 500 on an exarch kill.
nobody wants to deal with regular trade when faustus exists, and i cant buy my invites without gold, i cant get gold without mapping, and i cant map because i have zhp. i went to level a new character so i can map, cws chieftan. afk in some simus while i do some other things. unfortunately it was a struggle to buy levelling gear because i didnt have gold, i didnt have gold because i couldnt map, i couldnt map because i have zhp. and nobody wants to deal with trade. now i have levelled my character and now i have a new problem, i cant buy gear because i dont have gold, i can craft gear, but bases cost gold, mats cost gold, everything costs gold, and nobody wants to deal in regular trade. i cant even sustain my invites at the current rate. and if i can, i cant afford to convert my currency so i can afford more. i know i can buy gold carries, but im a zhp miner, so i get next to nothing from them too becuase i just die if i get hit. and i thought the point of gold was not being able to buy it, yet we can buy carries for it. all i ask is GGG add a base gold drop to bosses, like 2k is all it needs. if i do 200 boss kills a day thats 400k, that is PLENTY Last bumped on Nov 15, 2025, 6:29:11 AM

talking about boss kills. i feel that map boss kills should also give a solid 2k ish or more gold reward.
and i really think that if we're talking about special bosses that require a key. 2k is pretty low for the amount of effort you need to put it. make it 10k gold or so. OP is talking from the perspective of a dedicated bosser. but for a regular player, spending time killing a difficult boss or encounter and getting petty cash gold drops may encourage players to just focus on mapping and ignoring bossing. if i recall correctly i usually had a ton of devouring hunger invites. all undone because i simply had better things to do and prefered to have more gold. if bossing gave more gold i would be enticed to actually run content. perhaps gold can be used as an incentive for regular players to actually engage in content. on the other hand. completing breach encounters currently drops plenty of gold. i feel very rewarded. right now i prefer to just keep spamming maps rather than engage in bossing. i only do bosses for unlocks. i do not know how 'Z' is your ZHP but try Blight maps
freeze/meteor annoint, spam stun/cold/augment towers at chokepoints, meteors everywhere else and you are golden (except a line or two that is unaffected by slows - but your dps solves that) i think it is like 10k gold per rare map (avoid mods: stun immune, cannot be slowed, avoid ailments) that takes 3 minutes with looting or just buy a gold carry for 1div and get 500k in 10 minutes |

I doubt GGG even wants zHP bossers to be a thing so I wouldn't count on this being addressed.
POE2 should be the ruthless vision experience and POE1 should be the zoom power fantasy sandbox to capture both audiences.
I petition to return all the fun stuff that was removed or nerfed over the years back into POE1. |

It is pretty ridiculous that bosses and even uber bosses drop like a few hundred gold. Imo a pinnacle endgame boss should drop you a large stack of gold, like 50k at least. The pirate bosses drop around 40-50k in Kingsmarch, so why can't other endgame bosses?
