Notice it doesn't specifically mention console in the "how to join" section. It wouldn't be the first time they've done something weird for console.

I was tired when I first read the announcement, and the wording just felt weird to me. However, when I looked again after sleeping, I saw that it uses the same wording for the PC side, so it seems like it will be as expected (i.e. a new fresh-start event league).

Which league will this transfer characters into at the end of the event?

soo the event starts on Thursday and if you are player like me who works a full time job you have basically no chance of winning even if you are better player then Ben. ofc this is just a theory bcoz there is no better player then Ben but even could start on Friday then at least people like me could feel like they are competing.
