3.27 - I'm not angry, just disappointed.
" Yeah, this. I'll not play after 40/40. There is literally nothing to do. The overnerfs to 16.5 mods are absurd, the nerfs to scarabs were stupid. All good strategies are dead. Not just that, but no new OP skills either. Most people will leave and hopefully they will learn that no one wants their "vision", people want strong builds and a lot of loot. |

" its not the matter of learning the game. its about what i enjoy doing. i have cleared most of the games content except stuff like ubers using my self made build. i would dare say i've learned more about this game than most people who follow build guides have learned. dont get me wrong, i m enjoying this current league, but would have enjoyed it more if i could just skip the entire process of refarming all my gear over again. many people enjoy that process. i simply dont. as for your comment about oneshotting content and quitting after a day. i have 2 things that i want you to consider. 1. if the league content is fun, wouldnt players want to play more despite being very powerful? my personal answer is yes. in fact in many cases there are some leagues where i just dont want the league to end so i can keep on playing the league content. most of the casual league player base drops off within the 2nd month of the league, but whenever i m balls deep and actually enjoying the league content, i never want it to end. the same will be true on standard. similarly in Last Epoch, back in S1/S2, i played the fuck out of the game even tho i have legacy gear and a maxed out character. 2. perspective of a standard player A. Standard player who is actively playing the game despite leagues happening. I was this player for most of POE in its early years. I always looked at league content with envy but i soldiered on playing on standard coz poe was still my jam. How does this sort of player "quit in a day" when they're actively playing regardless of league content? doesnt make sense does it? B. Standard player who hasnt played poe in a while and doesnt like restarting their progress. This player has more or less "took a break" from playing on standard or POE even. he will not even LOOK at poe news because he's played standard inside and out, while league content just gives him the feeling of "meh, i dont want to grind to play that". so POE is totally ignored. IF ggg announced that league content was available to standard as well, wouldnt it be logical to assume theres a chance of all these "old players" to have some interest and return to POE? Also, don't you think that if they returned and they found the league content enjoyable they would stay? to be honest, i can understand where a lot of people saying people will quit the game in a day notion comes from BUT usually these people tend to forget one important fact. if the game is fun, people will stay. its quite ironic. i dislike restarting my progress in leagues, but usually i m one of the few who plays until the very last week of the league (if i enjoy it). i would say i enjoy leagues MORE than a majority of actual league enjoyers. for example back when we were stuck in the perpetual settlers league. i played the fuck out of it. many "league enjoyers" were crying and asking for new leagues but i still soldiered on. simply because i enjoyed the content. it feels wild to see people seeming to be unable to grasp the concept of playing more because you enjoy something. " Is this a joke or a typical brain rot moment of an argumenless PoE player? What is the skill issue? The loading in time that is PURELY game sided issue? or the fact that day 1 6 links costed 9c instead of the usual 40c? or the fact that all the fractures can be easily bought for few chaos? |

" Exactly this. They actively advertise new leagues as "economy reset" and that has nothing to do with learning the game, just repeating the boring part over and over and over and over... If anything, it's giving standard players a reason to purchease packs AND having ultra fast beta testing. Seems like a win-win situation to me. Good job once again for killing the game for endgame players GGG.
Pointless to give triple-A game companies any sort of constructive criticism without getting put on probation (or banned). GGG's downfall is drawing near.

You're absolutely right. This league is pure garbage. You're even forced to deal with the league mechanic, as it can't be ignored because it completely clogs up most maps, so you can't ignore it if you'd rather farm other content.
GGG Always talking big, didn't they say that their firm philosophy was that you should do what you like in the game? How can they then invent a league mechanic that you can't ignore because it clogs up large parts of the map? Why do I have to deal with this crap at all? GGG Anyone can talk, but it's about doing what you say. No honesty in your mind, no sincerity in your heart, no detachment—what a sad reflection on you. " you know what i've always found sad? for whatever reason they hav against league content going on standard. one of the most used arguments i've seen in forums/reddit other d-likes is "if i can kill the boss on day 1, why would i want to continue playing" as the main reason. whenever i see these sort of arguments thrown out i feel sad for 2 reasons. 1. the person has a very selfish and narrow point of view and is unable to imagine people enjoying the content if theres no challenge. they completely disregard the fact that standard players have been playing and enjoying the game on standard despite amassing godly gear/powers. 2. any mention of "quitting after a day" implies that devs are not able to create content that is so enjoyable that theyre "forced" to make players play in a reset league so that players now have goals to go for. thats really an indirect slap to the face of the devs. they poured a lot of effort planning and coming up with ideas to make interesting league mechanics. they made new content, artwork, sounds, animations. gear. mechanics. you're telling me that players will not appreciate all this and quit in 1 day? that says more about league players rather than std players. and it also highlights the sad reality. standard players are the most loyal players that GGG can ask for. they keep playing even when ggg puts so much effort into content NOT MEANT FOR THEM. yet theyre eating the short end of the stick. league players drive numbers up. and perhaps sales too. i openly say i hate playing reset leagues, but if the league content is good i usually become one of the persons who sticks around until the final week. most leaguers quit by month 2. wheres the loyalty? they've had their fill and now they leave. how is it, that i, a standard player feels that i enjoy league content more than the average league enjoyer? i am more loyal than the average league enjoyer too. the huge caveat is the league content must be fun. whether or not ggg finally decides to allow league content onto standard doesnt mean anything if the league content is fun. and to me breach 2.0 is fun. The starting post not only critizises the league content of 3.27, but the annoying lags of the UI we all are experiencing. While the discussion of the league content is a repeating pattern, the flaws of the interface are newly introduced.
Let's face it: POE1 isn't getting any better anymore. |

" For some of these scarabs i say: Good Riddance!...The only thing GGG does wrong is not giving people more baseline drops that are not scalable. Risk scarabs etc, juicing + group play...yeah well, i'd like them to cull this down. Most players that cry here are not even affected or they just watch a certain streamer and copy what they do. The only thing that annoys me is that they do stuff like the womb tree where womb tree gives one player 20 div stack and another player 20 bindings. The baseline drops of maps must go up, a baseline that is not scalable and then add another layer of scalable drops that is tiny for the juicers, so there is a small angle for juicing. |

If scarabs and boxes is your high endgame farming, that "no one" knows about then i am sorry for you....
