POE is the best game ever

Ok second try to post about this thing. For the first time 10 minutes ago my post was not published and i changed sam words.

So..
I just had an interaction (trade) with a character who has this account name [Removed by Support]
Why does GGG allow this and does he care about what these names are worth to other players!?

Maybe your mother needs love from POE freaks, mine has enough love from her family!
I think people should be able to name their characters whatever they want, no matter how offensive, as long as its not racist.

So offensive is fine, racist is not? LOL

People should be able to name their characters whatever they want, period. It's a video game and these are random strangers on the internet. If you genuinely care what other people name their characters you have too much free time on your hands.

Because in general, GGG does not police the full context of character names, only individual components of the name for explicitly prohibited content.
This allows for a lot of slang and innuendo.

If you find a name offensive, you have a couple options:

1. report the player. likely nothing will happen in cases like the one you mentioned, but it is an option nonetheless.

2. Refuse to engage with the player. Highly encourage this one. Inform them you do not want to buy/sell with them because their name is offensive. This provides some minor repercussion for their juvenile decisions, and even better, likely also makes them upset.

3. simply block them

I don't think you understand the meaning of the word "should"

I do, and your use of it in the above, left your awareness of the ToS unclear.

Luckily for the community, GGG does not agree with you. There is no real upside to unrestricted expression in a video game, and plenty of downsides.
