| " I had some thoughts about that one. Oshabi one, correct? I was thinking it could be cool with Chains of Emancipation + Rotblood Promise to get "free" adrenaline but it doesn't refresh while you already have it and that makes it somewhat worthless considering the investment. If it had an extra line allowing Adrenaline to refresh that'd make it good actually. | I used chains + cyclone + shackles of the wretched to do a rvob build on slayer. It wont work with this though because you lose all your rage at max rage. That is probably the reason that line exists. To make sure people aren't able to make a strong rage vortex build with it. Even though that's what it should be trying to supplement. One thing I don't know for sure. If you have adrenaline and hit max rage. Do you still lose all rage when you hit max rage or is the "gaining adrenaline" required for losing rage. Either way if you're on a berserker with a normal tree with 69 max rage with this node. You are passing up 103% more damage and 103% inc attack speed to get 100% inc damage and 25% inc attack speed and 10% pdr for a 6 second adrenaline. Then by the time you get back to max rage without chains interactions you're just cycling one buff for the other. If you don't lose all rage while adrenaline is up trauma stacking with skill effect duration might be cool if you could get a fairly long length adrenaline buff. That's tough on zerker though without the untiring forbidden jewel or getting a little es and running divine shield. Still probably wouldnt be worth it over just using earthshatter. |   | 
| " It's similar to vaal arctic armour. The damage immunity only works to normal damage, rather than darkness damage, which could kill you in 2-3 seconds, since you don't have darkness resistance on the ground. As a result, you have a chance to avoid some lethal skill combination every maybe 6-7 seconds. And if you keep the skills on for too long, you will easily be one-shot dut to extremely low life, or directly killed by the darkness. If we had 2 extra points specially for these ascendancies, or we could unspec 2 ascendancy points to get 2 "notable" points of them, there wouldn't be so many complaints in that thread. Why do we choose one or some of these new points? Because we unspec the weakest one and allocate a more powerful new one. Just the same logic of popular ascendancy and popular points. If some are great some are bad, everyone will use great ones; if terrible ones are added, nothing will be changed cause it's the same as nothing added. |   | 
| " I know how it works, I'm saying you don't. With zero darkness resistance, it takes almost 5 seconds to die in the delve assuming zero other mitigation (Soul of Arakaali, etc) and zero life recovery. Giving that to players with the ability to leech, use potions, etc makes them literally invulnerable for the entire duration of an uber pinnacle boss fight. Which is the same pattern found in every one of your ascendancies that I read: you did not truly think about balance, because thinking about balance means doing the math on stuff like this and seeing how insanely overpowered your suggestions are. You can't have individual nodes which provide more damage and/or defenses than entire ascendancies and try to tell me you've thought about balance, my dude. |   | 
| maybe , since you cant refresh adrenaline, when you go full rage with adrenaline up, it doesnt get your rage to 0 ? who knows :) |   |
