so.. where are the ES nerfs?
| 30% using Chaos Inoculation seems to be too low to warrant a change? They surgicaly remove some 2% outlier, but 30% is 'naah, this is fine' it isnt. everyone expected ES being addressed in some way - but it is POE2 all over again - ES is, right now, objectively better than 'red ES' in every way in BOTH games for some grotesque reason is GGG keeping it as is because it 'needs investment'? big flash news - 'red ES' requires more investment to survive than ES to dominate. but how many tricksters or EB/spellblade/battlemage Inquisitors can one make before boredom? the policy 'yeah, this interaction is gamedestroying, but it is fine because it relies on a 1% drop from uber uber john wick' is stupid all on its own expected FAR more changes - all they did is they gutted server-destroying farm methods - and most likely moved the 'borrowed loot' to the daily tree plantation | |

| For those with amnesia, trickster damage in 3.2.5 (settlers) was very good with enough investment and the only changes going into 3.2.6 were escape artist and polymath. Remove the doryani abuse in 3.2.6 (mercenaries) and the damage would still be strong. Provide the further nerfs in 3.2.7 (keepers) and we have simply moved the investment requirement higher. Trickster will still dominate later into the league with the "skilled" (read: plays all day) people just at it does now. Fundamentally absolutely nothing of note has changed in the "meta" so far going into keepers. Of course ascendancies and tree stuff will be uncovered with playtime but if this is what they mean by "serious balance changes", lol nope. Looks like a safe league for melee, slams, wand totems, int stacking, CoC, and ES abuse. Self casting will still be terrible for all the same reasons it's terrible now (huge investment requirement, no defensive layers, etc.). | |
