I have a similar problem on freezes when switching between locations.

Only restarting the game helps.

Pity that game not using more Ram for at least Town/Hideout keeping it and not loading it all the time when porting back.
Having 32 GB here, think most of us can upgrade if that will help. Currently game using only 5GB, while have 16GB on spare here.
At least could be a setting in option to give access using more Ram for the game.

I had the same problem, and I solved it by switching from EU servers to US servers.
I think the issue might be with ISPs or something related to the EU servers

I'm having this problem right now, cant actually play. I uninstall the game on steam, and reinstalling it now.

guys, after updating nvidia driver to 581.15 (released on 28th august) I got that problem issue too.

but after I restarted the PC, the loading changed to just like 20 seconds or something instead of ... infinite loading.

Still going strong. Cant play.
