Poe 2 Early Access Infinite Loading Screen 0.3

I played poe2 early access since 0.1 pretty much flawlessly with no problems and it seemed fine at the start of 0.3 until I had to go to the City of Keth to continue progressing at which point the game would crash to desktop immediately with no fail every time, I assumed it might just be bug with every zone but I was able to do the whole of Titan Grotto with no problem and when I had to go back to Keth it crashed again.

So I validated files on steam, all validated, still crashes, and next I tried updating my drivers as they were out of date, after updating my drivers my game gets stuck on infinite loading screens on every single loading screen, new character, standard old characters, new league characters, every single loading screen gets stuck loading infinitely, I can hear the sounds such as effects activating, players popping skill books etc. but I can never get into the game.

I tried everything,
-Fully reinstalled Drivers, even full DDU into reinstall, and even DDU reinstall into an older version
-Validating files and full reinstall
-Increasing shader cache size
-Deleting the contents of the %appdata% poe2 folder
-Trying all combinations of settings, Fullscreen/Windowed, Multithreading, different gateway, running in windows 8 compatibility

So far nothing has even made the slightest difference.

My pc specs are:
-Intel Core i5-9400F CPU 2.90GHz
-NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, currently on the 581.15 version of the Game Ready Driver but was also on the most recent one (Which messed it up, thanks NVIDIA)
-16GB ram
-Running game on SSD

Please help me GGG I'm on my knees literally crying right now

Got the same thing.
I updated nvidia driver and now game in infinite load loop with working background sounds

Slight update:

In desperation I tried to use a game streaming service to try to play. I used Nvidia NOW to try to troubleshoot the issue and to my surprise even running the game over a cloud service not on my PC still had the infinite loading glitch, this makes me believe it's not a matter of my PC especially since I've never had problems running the game before.


2nd update the Nvidia Now client managed to get past the loading screen after about 20 minutes suprisingly.

I'm not sure if infinite is literal of hyperbole, but I was coming to look for info regarding excessively long load times. First login and tp to town instance zones.

Pretty old i7, 2080 and 16 gb ram.

It's hard to tell I'm not quite sure, previously I had like 5-10 second load times, after updating the drivers it's been "infinite" ever since. I'm not entirely sure if it would eventually let me in but I left it running for around 40 minutes and it hasn't let me in by then I just assumed it was infinite.

That being said the Nvidia NOW let me in after a long time so my PC might go through if I let it sit there, but waiting for upwards of 40min to go to town every time might not be feasable.

I'm having the exact same issue and tried many of the same attempted fixes.

It was absolutely fine Launch Day and D+1. D+2 on waking up I haven't been able to get into the game since, stuck at loading into town on any character. Can hear background noises of the town and players, etc.

The game worked fine until the last update. I noticed very long loading times each time I ported to town, but today I could not log into the game at all. I can hear players and other sounds, its very weird.

Edit - I messed around with the settings some and after turning off Dynamic Culling (and using another server at the login screen), I managed to log in. Still took a while to load, but at least I can play. I hope this can fix the issue for some of you <3

Oh my god finally someone with the same problem! It is all about the server service providers of GGG I think. Nothing like this happened before 0.3 patch. I can get in with Cloudflare warp but the latency sucks so I can't properly play. I checked everything related to my ISP, nothing there. Also since the inception of POE1 to POE2 0.2, no problem like this ever happened. Help me GGG I want to play!

Not Infinity, but sooo long Loading time here. Around 1-2 minutes, but not seeing any activity during that time, not even at drive.
PC is quite old (around 10 years), but not a rusty-heap in the corner.
i7-4790K 4GHz
RTX-2070 8 GB Vram
32 GB Ram
2 SSD

Did a copy for game directory to the other SSD, usual speed was 200-250 MB/s during the 5 minutes process, hardly dropped lower. Did a Steam check all was fine on the Installation directory.

Not sure what is happening there.
