Personally I like it that the tree isn't released. No skill tree means everyone will start with an option to "go go go" and just decide along the way, or to spend time theorycrafting and maybe find some non-obvious synergies and get the benefit later. Assuming the game is now fairly balanced (it might not be tho), for people who race it creates additional strategic options. People with the best knowledge of the game mechanics will have an edge in the race. I think this is how it's supposed to be.

And free weekend is a "simulation" of 1.0 release. 1.0 is going to be free as well, and not just for the weekend. All those bots you're talking about will also be present after 1.0 and will stay till banned, so what's the problem now?

Well, this is completely unfair for a part of community with slow network connection. 111GB to download in not even 24h is for me impossible... again
Thats the one thing that i really dont like in GGG

I saw that in another post you said that "can't release tree until website updated to support tree"

why not just straight up say that you won't release a tree before release this time for whatever reason so people don't refresh and say the same stuffs every single day in every single post?

I hope there’s a good reason why there’s still no skill tree and the rest of the important information. The few days before the league starts are just as important as the actual gameplay at league start, and I’m a bit annoyed that a long-standing tradition has been broken for me.
