" There will be more Ascendancy's to choose from and its not a weapon/skill locked game. I think gender locking is actually good for indepth games like this because it encourages diverse builds. I was very happy with my Merc who mains a bow and subs a quarterstaff for Gathering Storm. |

I don't think so; classes and ascendancies are intertwined with characters background story, so it makes sense they have their genders defined.
