Phrecia Ascendancies as a Private League Option
We're a good way into 3.26 now, I've played through trade, group SSF, SSF and still have the POE itch. My friends and I have been wondering what happened to the idea of phrecia ascendancies being added as a private league option or template. We weren't huge fans of Idols, but we were really looking forward to trying the ascendancies again, especially after getting to try them out during the gauntlet.
Now feels like the perfect time, with the league slowing down and many people just waiting for 0.3 or 3.27. If there's concerns about it being 'p2w' why not make it so those private leagues are voided or lock the options until later in the league (since it would mostly affect leaguestarts anyways). My friends and I would start up a phrecia ascendancy private league in a heartbeat if it was made available Last bumped on Aug 20, 2025, 3:47:15 PM

On the one hand, I'm cool with this for people that enjoy it. More power to you. On the other hand I don't want it to take away dev time from other priorities, and I feel if they end up making it a permanent option they'll end up having to invest effort into balancing it. But they also did say it was going to be added as an option so they should stick to their word there.

I would rather see a phrecia league for poe2. Or give us another class thats melee centric druid please.

I know of pals who've said that they'd pay for private league versions of this event.
Anecdotal to be sure, but a lot of folks enjoyed it. |

I miss idols.
Current atlas tree is ass. You dump everything into map mod effect and then slap risk scarabs to push those multipliers even further. Very boring meta. Your actual farm strategy is done with about 30-40 points. The rest are throwaway nodes with quant and map effect. Give idols, make crafting / trading them little less asinine. Idols were different. Instead of cranking generic quantity and rarity gauges they focused on pushing specific mechanics beyond natural limits. Such as rituals with 11 rerolls and free item deferrals. Or gigantic rouge exile farm. Or ultimatum that offers only currency, is always kill monsters and starts on round 9. Or... or... there were so many setups. All of them good.
