HC SSF. What else? Ruthless when?
Would love to see a warcry like this added to the game...

Howling Cry
Warcry, Duration, Cooldown
Performs a fearful warcry, causing nearby monsters to flee in terror for a duration. Bosses and unique monsters are immune to this effect.

Bump.
Bump for the 0.3 hype! Cheers!

I like it! I fear *hahah* it may be more effective on bosses and elites rather than the average mob given their lifespan of 0.2 seconds, so making bosses immune is kinda shooting yourself in the foot. But basically another flavor of stun and freeze? hell yeah. Also thematic!

this mechanic was used by true melee classes in d2 to allow you to fight the champ and get all the trash mobs to scurry. it was extremely helpful and its a must if we care about true melee. so no, the immunity of rares/bosses is actually a benefit here since you don't want those running away.

Oh! That was cool! Hit causes monsters to flee. What I propose is similar to this. Right!

Cool in theory, bad in practice. One fear in end game is pretty much going to cause you to die, which would make building fear resistance another mandatory end game cap you have to reach in order for your character to map. I dont like the idea of trying to fit in "fear resistance" in an already crowded space where youre juggling all the other resistances.

Maybe if it wasnt given to mobs i could be on board, but even then, chasing mobs that are running away isnt that much fun. Itll just turn into another oh shit button, which is fine I guess.
