Hi sir, im testing it on occultist Ele to chaos conversion with lycia for the big booms that im addicted to. I have like shit tons of AoE. is there any point that my aoe (or mb cast speed top??) is lowering my boss dps? It seems like i dont deal dmg some time with the transfigurated ver. And how imporant is ashes quality ? Curently im using badge of the brotherhood to get 11 frenzy charges to get cast speed but the 30 quality might be morę single dmg power?

" I love your take on this build! The charge stacking approach appears to be just as good as the Quality+Duration Stacking approach. Storm Burst gets AoE from gem levels. Without investing in AoE at all, a vast majority of your explosions will hit the target. I plugged your character into PoB and tested with Ashes of the Stars. The DPS is almost exactly the same. Your single target damage on Storm Burst of Repulsion comes from "pulsing" your channeling every 1 second. Alternatively, you can gem swap to Storm Burst for bosses, and just hold the channel down on target. |

So if it’s same dmg on bosses regardles of the scaling strategy, the shorter duration stormburst will have shorter ramp up time. But i assume this is true only for the standard ver of storm burst. I did make a ashes pob while w8ing for you. The duration stacking looks morę promising in the long run - ( at 6sec skill duration to my standard 2.87 sec it’s like 40 morę dmg on duration stkacking) But still i dont know if i shoud consider pob dps calculations on the transfigurated ver. „Maximum orb duration explode” stat being true at all.

" Feel free to post your PoB. One thing I will say is that Duration Stacking has higher potential. Spending 7 points to take the Skill Effect Duration Wheel in the center + Duration Mastery is a 40% damage boost on your PoB. For Storm Burst of Repulsion, the PoB "Max Orb Duration Explode" is a little misleading. It represents perfect conditions and perfect play, which in my experience is really hard to achieve. Once the orbs begin jumping away, they won't reliably hit your target. This means you get as many orb explosions as you can cast in 0.4sec. This is why I use standard Storm Burst for bosses.
