I'm in a similar situation.

I had a lot of fun playing a wide variety of builds in PoE2. I've taken over a dozen characters to the endgame, starting from 0.1.0. And I would keep playing if it weren't for the server issues (portals closing, lost keys, lost loot, locations counting as losses). I've played 700 hours in PoE2, whether that's a lot or a little.

But I simply can't play PoE1; it's an unimaginably boring game, especially after PoE2. Yes, it's complex, yes, it's head and shoulders above Diablo 4, which I also can't play (for different reasons). Yes, it has a deep build system, the best parts of which PoE2 tries to adopt. But it's impossibly boring for me personally.

And here I will clearly state my position again. When you (the developer) release a second part in your franchise, you stop releasing content for the first. The first part can still be played, no one is talking about shutting down servers. The game is complete. You can play it fully.

But that's a past stage. You've made a huge leap forward. And now you need to move on, putting all your efforts into developing the new part.

This is what all developers do. No one develops Overwatch 1, CS 1.6, Diablo 2, Smite 1 or any other game, when the next one has already been released.

In GGG's case, something completely different is happening, which I don't understand.

You are absolutely right. And there is also a very logical reason, why it is exactly how it is. Everything else got nerfed to oblivion^^ Dont worry, EVERY single showcased build will also be useless and nerfed to death with 0.3

Yhat's complete nonsense. Your posts probably got deleted because they violated forum rules, not because of some conspiracy. I've been critical of GGG plenty of times and my posts are still here.
It's early access. Server issues are expected and they've been communicating about fixes regularly. Maybe check the actual developer posts instead of expecting hourly updates.
And threatening people with "careful not to get probation" just makes you sound like you're trying to stir up drama rather than have a genuine discussion.

Complete nonsense. EA not mean that servers should have problems for 6+ months, EA not an excuse for every problem the game has. You're completely wrong on this topic.
Also, I could bring some reasons why for "critisized post" you did not get the probation period, but I don't want to have a probation period for "violating forum rules" :)

Throwing around conspiracy theories about hidden profiles and coordinated defense squads is pretty ridiculous. I call out skill issues when I see them because half the complaints I read are people not understanding basic mechanics, not because I'm some secret GGG employee.
And yes, other EA games have had similar problems - remember Diablo 4's launch? New World? The difference is most people expect these issues going into EA, while others apparently think they're buying a finished product.
The game has real problems that need fixing, but acting like every defender is part of some elaborate scheme just makes you sound paranoid. Some of us just have different standards for what constitutes "unplayable" in early access.

Spot on. Anything else he comments just ignore. thats what Im doing since this is the same user that has been using another 2 accounts from a fake profile until they got probation too much :P
