Currency drops for solo nerfed?

Honestly I felt absolutely no difference.
Another update. After whatever 50 days in, my div drop count was 4. Today I finally partied up with a PoE friend, one with whom there are big time zone/life issues between so we rarely get to run together. He also has a lot less time to play so his progression is nowhere near mine (we cleared his first Maven challenge today) so we were just running alc'n'go t16's on his host.

Within a three hour session, we dropped two divs and >40c. Every single map dropped a minimum of 5c pure after I started paying attention. On an alc'n'go setup, with an Atlas tree that isn't even half filled.

This is bullshit. The c drops were far too consistent over three hours for this to be "rng", just like my lack of pure drops has been consistent the whole league. How is it that running solo >150% quant t16s on a full Atlas tree doesn't get me even CLOSE to getting same pure drops I get with alc'n'go t16's on a broken Atlas tree in party of two?

I get that GGG wanted to upgrade party drops (although I don't get WHY), but why tf was it necessary to nerf solo drops at the same time???
I got three Div yesterday, random is random.
~ I play slowly.
I have bad news for you. If you only dropped 4 Divs until now you might want to read up on some Atlas strategies. Clearly whatever it is you're doing (if you're even playing the game at all) isn't working.
People are being harsh, but I agree you should take another look at your atlas strat.

The majority of low/mid tier strats do not drop a lot of raw currency.

Currency favoring mechanics include:

-Sanctum
-Strongbox
-Eldritch Alters
-Harbinger (but not divines)
-Kingsmarch (shipping/mapping)

Once you move into T16.5/T17's, you can start rolling your maps for a "more currency" value on the maps, which will greatly increase the currency drops in any strat. (make sure you use a custom regex). In the mean time, highly suggest farming a strat that produces resources to sell, such as harvest, essence, beast, etc.

I feel your pain, I miss raw div drops too. My build is too shit for the super juiced Alva strat, missing out on the crazy loot explosions. However, I've been running good 'old' T17 Strong Box and stacking up more meager piles of currency. (Strong box atlas force duplicates all currency/div card drops from the boxes, very common to get a 2ex or 2d drop from an arcanist box doing this.)

You don't even need an insane build to print currency. If you can do T16's with 8 mods you're good to go. Abyss, Breach, Bismuth + Shrines, Harvest are all solid. Heck, you could go as low as T7 maps and hunt T0 uniques with Gigantic Exiles. Just convert whatever you find to currency through the exchange, purchase some scarabs and from there it's self sustaining. It's really hard to at least not break even with most strats.

OP seems to be specifically asking about raw divine drops, not converting items to currency on exchange. I agree it is rough right now in most T16's, 8-mod or not.

I am talking about raw Divine drops. T16, a halfway decent atlas and basic scarabs should be the bare minimum if you're expecting meaningful loot. Raw dogging your maps with alch and go hasn't been amazing for a very long time now, it's not something they recently changed.

When I say basic scarabs I mean exactly that. Just by picking up whatever bubblegum currency you find you're able to afford these for your T16 maps. Harbinger, Domination, Breach, Abyss, Legion or Kalguur scarabs are all between 1 to 2c just to put the extra content in your maps. With the map device craft we're looking at what, 8 to 12c per map? You can afford that with ease by just picking up and converting ground loot. From there onwards it snowballs.

I was farming T16 Dunes with 5x Breach scarabs + Settlers on the map device for exp earlier. The scarabs are inexpensive and Settlers gives me Bismuth Ore (underrated juice, really) on top. I'm dropping a raw Divine or a Valdos every third map on average, sometimes more. My atlas trees also has beyond in it - one map pays for the next 5+ maps just from raw Chaos drops alone. Raw Divines and everything else on top is bonus and I'm not doing even doing these for profit.

It's very accessible if you're willing to do the bare minimum above alc and go, really.

Actual experience may vary definitely applies here.

I run 8-mod dunes quite a bit on an Alva Temple/Settlers fishing/T17 map farming strat, maxing out eldritch packsize w/ atlas+scarab and clicking all the quant boost and the occasional quant/rarity domination shrine, and I see maybe 1 divine every 10-20 maps.

Dont get me wrong, its a great strat, i get tons of temples, fortress maps, good scarabs, etc. But the raw currency is sad.

No one is underrating bismuth juice, its a key part of the giga-alva evolve strat
