Who is the Originator, and, er, what did they Originate?

I thought Valdo wrote "first" under the Atlas of Worlds whilst being cajoled into map device experiments only to find that Elder had already written "Rue is a cat" there. But already the Eternals' Lazhwar had made little pocket worlds so he could lord over the chittering locals, and inspired Malachai to throw together the Reverie Device, which turned out rather poorly for his sleep patterns, but all of them may be predated by Doryani, who also liked a good commune with nightmarish entities from beyond. But even he might not be the first, perhaps just the first not to blow everyone up before someone got around to writing something down.

Given there are things beyond, and the potential to fabricate devices to access things beyond, if Zana even succeeded in her goal, would that actually change anything.

I completed the quest chain, but didn't really seem to learn very much, or arguably anything outside personal trauma, poor old Zana. But it really was a lot of fun though.

The lore of this game is just insane!

That being said. Can we get an update? The goos things about the Mercs are being obscured by the bad ones. Loosing Renown for just interacting with them. The fact that they hit you 20 times for 0 damage followed by a sudden one-shot out of nowhere. How tanky they are. The fact that if you win, most of the times you get 4 Transmutation Orbs or 2 basic Scarabs.

The league mechanic needs some love. Almost a year to abandon the league incredibly fast man.
