Make RUNES & SOUL CORES be corruptable.

Feels weird to make what is essentially a crafting currency, corruptable. The base runes are incredibly common and cheap, so it's nothing like gear. Kind of defeats the whole purpose of corruption if there is 0 risk.

I also don't think runes and soul cores are weak at all. If I get +1 socket on a corrupt I am a very happy camper. Having more space for resistances, base increases, or something like rarity, is very, very good. Well, rarity is less good since they gutted late game rare farming. But here's to hoping 0.3 has some meat and bones at the end, and hoping that everyone that cries about MFing because they have FOMO is ignored.

I think that would solve alot of the nerfs they did and caused the players to quit the game. so I don't mind a corrupted cores.

Indeed but also the corruption wouldn't buff significally the runes. Also there are some SOUL cores very rear and expensive. In any case it will help.

I just don't really see how it would help in a way that adding another league and more currency wouldn't and honestly adding another corruption layer to gear doesn't seem all that exciting to me.

Maybe they should be adding more outcomes to the corruptions themselves that are exciting? The best ones are pretty bland at the moment.

It's a great idea if Devs won't change the s..t Rune values in 0.3.0 patch that doesn't need a lot of work and doesn't ruining balance becouse buff wouldn't be significant for builds.
+1. It is something that doesn't exist in Poe1. A true innovative idea.
how would this even work? you corrupt a rune, and that rune doesn't stack now?
do we need a separate tab for all the corruption outcomes now?

this is a half baked idea

edit: i can see this if the vaal orb will only work on socketed runes, and it would lock the rune in place (bake it in). but i highly doubt this is what OP et al will want lol

'Bake it in' is a good idea. And yea we talking about socketed runes in Gear. I'm thinking about what unpredictable corruption can bring to Runes. In any case its fun and adds more crafting options.
