OP one of them folks who hate games with easy difficulties, I bet~ You don't engage with the game unless you are a true HARDCORE GAMER GOD.
If you want challenge, go play the gauntlets with your SSF hardcore rulesets. Challenge rewards are something to grind for and if you dare play casually, don't have a meta min-maxed heavily tweaked giga stat-stacking build, or have some disability affecting your mouse control or your reactions or something, good luck getting your Uber kills, boss-encounter-without-getting-hit-by-x, etc. There's often challenges to use rare currency. Wouldn't the currency exchange defeat the spirit of solo? Remember how rare the Incarnation orb drops were in 3.26? I play with my husband and we aim for 40 challenges together. This would even screw us over. People grind currency to purchase gear upgrades and people grind currency to buy their challenges. Both are buying their way into 40/40 challenges, are they not? Do you want everybody crafting their own gear? Otherwise they aren't engaging with the content. Stop gating rewards from people behind a wall of 'git gud =)', because that is exactly what this is. |

More fun and engaging challenges go a long way without simply being “hardcore.” Maybe before making personal assumptions, you should read further into the topic. You would realize there is more to what a rework would offer, so there is really no need for the passive personal jab just because you felt stepped on. " Wouldn't matter if they replace lousy and boring challenges like this with something better. Same as the decade old vendor challenges or random campaign quests for respec points. Trade is already the easy mode since you got a literal item editor at hand, so it really wouldn't hurt to change the boring challenges into something better, and make half of them solo exclusive to the point that you don't need trade to complete them in terms of buying random currency. Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.
