LVL 82 maps are too inaccessible.

In order to get lv 82 maps for high tier crafting and atlas boss, we now
- first have to find a corrupted cluster - cleanse it - pray that at least one of the nodes will have +1 - Irradiate a nearby tower - pray that your Irradiate hits the +1 - else repeat - vaal orb a bunch of tier 15s, hoping to get a tier 16 and hoping it doesn't suck too much This is very annoying to do, especially since, with how low the chance is, you will likely have to find and clenanse multiple corrupted clusters for maybe 1 Cleansed that gives you +1. Even funnier when you do find one that is +1 and your Irradiate doesn't hit that specific node :) It's significantly worse than it was in 0.1, I genuinely hope they revert corruption to giving +1 on nodes again. 100% agree this needs to be changed back the way it was in 1.0.x.
cleansed/corrupted should add +1 to Monster Level of Area as a baseline with a random modifier on top of that. and while you are at it reverse this change as well: 0.2.1: Lessened the restrictions on which packs of monsters could appear in different atlas biomes, this will result in a significant increase to the variety of monsters appearing in Endgame Maps. The few monster pack types that were available in all biomes were appearing significantly more frequently than they should have, making endgame combat much less interesting than it should have been. this has only made the game worse, now every map can feel like Vaal Factory/Foundry or have oversized monsters that don't fit in doorways/narrow halls. there is a reason almost everyone loves the campaign... the artisanship and attention to details comes thru while endgame maps are just random garbage on top of random garbage. |

Yeah it's garbo. If there is no way to guarantee +1 in the right spot then it just needs to be a super common extra mod.

Agreed. The system in .1 worked fine. Then, they decided to poop on it. I don't even try for 82 maps any more. What a waste.

We just need a game that respects player's time.

" While I agree that it is way too difficult to scale the area lvl in poe2, this is misleading information. Firstly both corrupted and cleansed areas can get +1 to zone level, so you don't have to automatically cleanse it. In fact if that's what you did without looking at every corrupted node first, then you've most likely missed out on a lot of +1 areas. Secondly you can guarantee that every map in the tower's radius will be irradiated by running the tower with a t15+ waystone and using at least 2 irradiated tablets. |

" Thank you for the info. |

There is no XP gain after level 95. So basically this buffs the XP loss in some way.
Waiting for 0.3.0 patch, and hoping for Dev's mercy.... |

I have a row of 82s. I go to an irradiated node and activate.
Monster level shows as 79 and I receive lvl 80 xp and gear. The game is designed for "bully tactics." It 8s designed to slow all progression. But in season play we don't have time. The company should be renamed to "Get Gud Games" because it is based on the immature 13yo p.v.p. mentality of punishing those who do not already have what they need and preventing progression. In other words one must already have what they need to complete difficulties which reward what is needed to complete difficulties, and failure is punishable by knocking progression back by 1000%. My map declared that 0 monsters remain. This is inaccurate, as those calling the dev decisions at Ggg are still there. |
