Have been trying out 0.2 and have had this issue constantly.
On the plus side I dropped a headhunter in SSF... still, fix your game GGG! |

Try changing Renderer off of Direct x12 under Graphics. I set mine to Vulkan and haven't exp issues since.

Can confirm setting Shadow + GI quality to low seems to have fixed this for me.

Another observation: while lowering Shadow + GI has reduced the frequency a lot for me, I've noticed I still freeze/crash when I teleport between checkpoints in a map, or if I have shroud walker with my headhunter and I teleport with that.

Hello all if anyone is still experiencing this issue I had to change my renderer to vulkan. That is what worked for me. I could not use directx as it would freeze. I used directx 11 and it would just crash. The only option I had was Vulkan and I can say with many hours now no issues. I did lose some fps out of the deal but I will take it for no freezing. Sucks in the middle of maps 3/4 lvl and die. My build is a lian li case with 9800 x 3d with a amd taichi lite mb with 64 gig ram and a 5070ti and corsair liquid cooler.
