Dawn of the Hunt - What We’re Working On
The map exploration in this campaign is absolute garbage.
All I experienced was running around for ages only to hit dead ends, where you placed a strongbox that gave me 20 gold when I clicked it. I had to repeat this nonsense 5-6 times—and all on a 'tiny map.' You should really livestream your own employees playing through this campaign so everyone can laugh at how ridiculous it is. |

I've been playing this game non-stop since 2012.
Your recent stance is absolutely worrying. You refuse to accept any of the community feedback and yet, after doubling-down with 0.2 you TRIPLE-down with this announcement. No, the issue that we feel zones are way too much and it's a slog travelling through is not the monsters or the lack of content within the zone. IT'S THE FACT THAT THE ZONE IS SIMPLY TOO BIG. Anyway, like I said, your stance within the last year is absolutely worrying for someone who has been playing your game since the beginning. As much as it hurts me, this will be the first time I will uninstall any of your games and also vote with my wallet. At this point with the state of PoE2 and the fact your butchered PoE1's development for it, I simply cannot justify giving you any cent. Sad. |

how about you reduce area size? so you don't have to do "more passes on the silly checkpoints"... I don't understand why backtracking exists at all when you can design areas without backtracking. Does not have to be some linear road, but come on... Poe1 had very few areas with backtracking, super nice layouts even for the worst areas

I can't play, my fireball now costs 3k mana and down from 37k dps to 11.
You've ruined the game. |

Very disappointing, the future of this game is looking grim if this is how you keep on designing it.

" Its not content or checkpoints. Its huge fucking areas where you have to search for 10 minutes to find something. And when you go back into the area the instance is gone and you have to do the same shit again. I mean the first map after the first camp is something you have to uncover three fucking times. You whole manifest seems disconnected and you focus on some nitpicky cases instead of fixing your game and the broken unfun underlying vision. | |
Disappointing

So like nothing?

There's a big gap between what your vision is and how you properly execute it in the game. Most of your changes feel like spaghetti being thrown against the wall for some idealistic notion only to be fully untested and almost strictly to tone down the high level player builds at the expense of everyone else.
Now, if it's not a quality of life change, most positive changes you tend to make is the ones curtailing your overreach, mistakes or mishandling of things you probably shouldn't of done in the first place then you kind have this deer in the headlights look when the fires start. It's not a good look. You're becoming untrustworthy in a sense even if you end up making solutions to the problems you guys are clearly hellbent. At minimum, you guys should be more forthright about nerfs and more cautious in the way you go about them. Could of just been monster health or it could of been nerfing damage. How you didn't know doing both and IN THE CAMPAIGN wouldn't be a problem is kind of nuts. lol This isn't even your guys first time doing weird mess like this. |
