Legacy of Phrecia Endgame Specialisation System
| So instead of a reliable access to the mechanics I like I now have to pray I drop the "relics" that fit it and I probably wont be able to buy any because all the most "profitable" and "meta" mechanics idols will cost an arm and a leg on trade Why would you think this was a good idea? Why not have the relics be *extras* we can get on top of the passive tree? This is a presumably voided league with crazy ascendancies rolled out as an apology for the PoE1 league schedule getting shafted, pardon my french. And instead of letting the playerbase have fun with it you make endgame into sanctum (thank god we dont have resolve in maps yet) for no reason? Can't even tell what's guiding your design philosophy anymore | |
| PTR for that trash poe2 LMAO | |
| This is an interesting idea. I really like the current atlas passive tree and would not want to see it replaced with this permanently, but as a one off I am absolutely down to try it. Will I love it? Will I hate it? I have absolutely no idea, but it's sufficiently different as to really shake things up. It might force me to engage with content I have never really engaged with much. Also if, as other players suspect, this is testing an alternate system for Poe 2 atlas, I'm all for it, as Poe 2 atlas is currently dog water. It's a one month event, if you don't want to play it, there will no doubt be community events, or you can carry on in necro settlers, Poe 2 or something else. I'm looking forward to trying it out. | |
| personally i think this is really a bad idea. If you keep them both the atlas skill tree and the idol is fine. We need the map sustain nodes, the increase effect modifiers, quant/rarity nodes... Whithout them every map will feel kinda empty and unrewarding even with scarabs. Pls GGG, i rarely post on the forum because i trust your hard work. Don't do this to us. | |
| Cool, it's less deterministic AND I won't have to manage three different sets of Atlas Passive anymore. God... | |
| I not understanding why people blame about relics, it's kind of return of old times without atlas passive tree. As a season/league it will be fun to play | |
| This will be frustrating even IF you manage to reach the same power level that the Atlas tree would provide. Idol Stash when? | |
| " >return of Old system that some people might forgot or not know about >trying something new think, my man, think | |
| The ascendancies are a cool hook for coming back, but the main reason to do so is that the end game is miles ahead of others in this genre, including PoE2. And now we're scraping that for an RNG or trade system. Not really a fan. We've had craftable watchstones in the past and it wasn't great. We've had leaguestones that were unmodifiable and those were awful. I wouldn't want them combined. I'll still play it, but I really wish that this was in addition to instead of replacing the existing end game. You would still be able to test whatever you want to test because they would still have value. All of this stuff is going to a void league anyhow. | |
| This might shape up as an even bigger cluster-f than 3.15 or Kalandra, they certainly are trying to shove the VISION down our throats again (and I actually don't mind testing some stuff for poe2, but this is just mule-level stubborness on the GGG side) | |
