Their plan since the split was going to be running both games, updating both in a staggered fashion. That way people can play both when the other game is kind of in 'off-season'.

This new game isn't something a lot of fans of the first like at all, and we've been paying to support the game we love. Some of us more than others sure, but I myself have put about $50 a year into PoE for just shy of a decade. We shouldn't lose the game we love because some passerby who likes the sequel says we should shut the game down.

Why am I seeing this in my PoE2 login screen? I thought it was something relevant to the game, turns out it's something for PoE1 which I didn't launch.
