A Message to Path of Exile 1 Players

I'm not a software developer, I'm not in the game industry.

However, I do work with software developers and product managers and directors on a daily basis. You were in sort of an impossible position trying to support two games at the same time with insane deadlines and expectations. I have nothing but the upmost respect for the work that you and your teams do around the clock. You can't please everyone in some situations, and I think you made the absolute right set of calls with the resources that you have on your teams. I have enjoyed POE1 (not recently admittedly), but I have enjoyed the hell out of what you have done with POE2, and look forward to what content you put out for us next and see what sort of balance changes you make over time much like you did with POE1 over the last decade, and only wish you the best of luck with POE2 going forward.

So suddenly poe2 bad? Game is holding really well for a pve game in EA don't you think? Also why are you bashing GGG for poe1 delay so bad? It's first time they have 2 games released at the same time, let them learn how to manage it.

I'm also sad that this happened but we really don't have to go berserk on GGG for that. Just play something else for now, you can't be that addicted.

Yall acting like spoiled brats, we finnaly have devs that cares one you wanna burn it all coz they werent right about poe1 deveopment after poe2 release.

PoE1 abandoned game

Very nice. POE2 looks like remaster of POE1 and I hope GGG will not make same mistakes they did with POE1 so it is unplayable now. Ty for your work.

GGG really went downhill, zero support for this crap.
Time to look for something else I guess, GGG filled with lies all over.

This is ridiculous, and completely unacceptable.

You absolutely promised that PoE 1 would not suffer from PoE 2 development, and that carried over after you stated you were separating the games.

The game has been suffering for years because of the sequel, but at the very least we were getting new leagues every 4ish months. You don't even have anyone working on it .. since July! What is this, Last Epoch?

PoE 2 is Early Access! It doesn't need this crazy push attention sacrificing your actual released game. These decisions are astoundingly messed up.

We still don't even have our MTX from PoE 1 on PoE 2 .. the whole reason for the debacles of November. You made guilds have to buy all of their storage space all over again.

And what do we have to show for it? A worse end game system than the previous game, and the previous game has nothing. Absolutely nothing! Some of us have spent hundreds / thousands of dollars into this game .. to be treated like this.

You could have just pasted PoE 1's map system and called it a win at all angles.
But you didn't, and it's mud on all of our faces now.

Absolutely ridiculous. Not one more dime. Not a single one.
This ship has to turn around immediately. You expect us to just watch it continue off into the horizon for another couple months+ ?
