A Message to Path of Exile 1 Players

I get the frustration but the crying man baby responses are bullshit. You guys will jump back to daddy PoE1 once the new expansion comes out. Go take a shower and touch grass and maybe read a book or get some exercise.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Nothing is owed to anyone. Life moves on with or without an update.

There are actual people, like anyone in the comment section, making this game everyone is complaining about.

I know nobody in the comments is making a game as cool as this, so why do you think you can act all mighty towards your literal heroes.

I know nobody i comment can avoid league launch no matter when it comes.

It is so simple to maintain PoE 1 players content, an endless Delve mode, Delirium everywhere, a circle league with some mobs that one shot you. There is no need for super balance changes, there is no need for almost anything.
And you still have found a way around to screw it up.

PS: You guys talk a lot about how you need to move developers from here to there and all that. Didn't you guys say a couple of months ago that more than a million keys for the Early Access were redeemed? How about you guys invest that money in maybe, I don't know, MORE DEVELOPERS. You clearly need more of those.

11 years beloving this game, it really feels like a stretch to me. POE2 is in early access for a reason. Shouldn't put aside what made GGG what it is today. truly devastating..

True fan will wait anyway. I can understand how hard is to deploy something new to the big project like Poe2, then fixing all problems- when poe1 still works.

That means don't be a positive data point for POE2, and make sure you are one for POE1.

This is really unfortunate news, I understand that you have to give some priority to the new child. But there's plenty of us who aren't all that interested in PoE 2's slower pace, and are dedicated more to PoE 1. All we can ask now is are you gonna keep your promise to keep both games running? Because there's gonna be more issues down the road with PoE 2, once you start dropping leagues and more content, issues are gonna be whack a mole... Is the PoE 1 team gonna get pulled for every issue that comes up when you are crunching deadlines? I genuinely do appreciate the honesty and the sentiment in the video, I just hope we can expect better judgement in the future. Also don't rush too much, I'd rather have good content come out than some half baked trash with severe balance changes that ruin another league.

The problem is that poe 2 is not a good game and I loved poe. Playing it once sure okay at least I know how lucky we were with poe1 but THAT tedious thing is not something I am willing to do over and over for leagues for decades - I ran it once and i uninstalled it because its definitely not for me. Sad thing that something good is sacrificed for something intrinsically mediocre to work.

GGG can't create new content for 2 games but EverQuest still to this day has expansions for both 1 and 2....Extremely disappointed. Time to move on. Sad, I have been a loyal player since I Joined: Dec 31, 2012. Man 12+ years devoted to a game.

EverQuest literally had the same problem when they released EQ2. This isn't new. You guys are absolutely reckless to write as you do for FREE (minus poe2 EA) games. Grow up. Acting like as if you've been stabbed in the back for your 12 years of play(devotion) time ripped from your hands as if none of it was worth a cent.

Play the game or don't, but please have more respect for the amount of man hours GGG has devoted to make enjoyable games for you, the player. People make mistakes, it happens, they don't have all the developers or staff in the world. Good grief.

You guys are absolutely spoiled for the amount of content and years of development time PoE1 had. Acting like it had all of this out of the woodworks. Holy moly yall would've complained if PoE1 was released today with the amount of content it originally had. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.
