It's extremely sad to know that there is such neglect with poe1

This are devastating news.

We are finally seeing the effects of this guys selling the 100% of the company to Tencent in March 2024, right before giving us the worst league ever (Necropolis), and let's be honest, Chris already knew the directions things were going that's why he went to the darkness.

The reading of the script in the video feels like they dont really care anymore. Jonathan's words are totally empty, they just respond to whoever is in charge of the office now and push them to take the greed route. Let´s face it, this is what happens when any business get owned by a coorporation.

The only way out to coorporation greed is to punish them with money. Their mindset of taking desitions based on profit can make them change directions only when they see their move is not generating money. Unfortunately, PoE 2 is already a monster on sales and PoE 1 playerbase will not affect them that much, at least not with the hype of their recent release, but with time the novelty of PoE 2 will come to an end and other big games will come out, when that happens the majority of this new players will go to the next "new thing". Guess who will be in charge by then? that's right, PoE's 1 inconditional playerbase.

I stand in solidarity with all the PoE 1 players who made PoE 2 possible and now regret it. If by then we knew this would be the outcome, many of us would have never supported the launch of PoE 2.

No more money guys... no more money.

You had an opportunity to release 3.26 after the holidays and bring in hundreds of thousands of new players to PoE1, but you got shell shocked as a developer and failed to see the big picture.

My 5c worth, I'm totally disappointed no POE 1 new league, Poe2 great but at the moment hardly playing as economy gone highwire whilst you were on holiday.

The biggest thing I'm dissappointed with is the lack of communication and waiting for support to respond to my email from weeks ago. This is not the company we love and supported over the years.

I also think you've missed out on lots of POE2 players that are also bored discovering the wonders of a POE1 league.

Please convey to GGG that they've got years of trust built up with their fan base.
Please convey that we'd like them to continue to communicate clearly and honestly about snags and snafus, to maintain that trust.

We can empathize, and root you on earlier, than we can if it's hidden until later.


Also, please toss your most novice-est developer onto PoE 1, to give us something.
I think most of us won't even care if it's a buggy as hell, 30 week recap of every league mechanic PoE 1 has ever had.
Week 1 - Shrine only
Week 2 - Strongbox only
Week 3 - Vaal Side Areas only
etc

Just, some kind of basic event to keep us fresh.

Hopefully you guys can get some kind of solution worked out.

This is not honesty, but excuses

we all knew this was gonna happen xD GGG said that they have 1 developers team for each game and now they come up with this lame excuse? let's face it poe2 is actually trash! the whole end game is trash! we are forced to run maps that are just too tight to empty to enjoy mapping! for god's sake we still don't have a stash for the damn maps (waypoints) it seems to me that GGG doesn't care about us only cares about making money and delays! Mark my words you are about to lose lots of players if you don't start keeping your word! Don't promise a poe1 new league in the end for February and now take that away from us to continue playing that parody! This is becoming that's same bullshit blizzard did to the diablo fans!
