A Message to Path of Exile 1 Players

Seems corporate greed won.

And players and supporters are in loss.
Its turned we actually supported poe2 aka forced ruthless hc no one rly liked before.

And the game we actually tend to support — got abandoned.
Wow.

They taste the money and its over. Cant even express how betrayed and pissed i am. Shouldve not spent money on the game.

Years of promising that GGG knew what they were doing and had good plans in place. They wouldn't let PoE2 fuck over PoE development! They had experience!

Literally the year before PoE2 EA launch - delays and concessions for every fucking PoE league.

6 months before PoE2 ships, PoE functionally abandoned

Continues fully abandoning PoE to focus on PoE2

literally y'all spend the past year, and especially the past 3ish months going back on YEARS of promises and commitments and brags about how you wouldn't let this happen.

And it's the fucking first thing you let happen.

I do hope Jonathan comes out with his rightful clown makeup on for the next livestream.

As much as I don't want commenting negative stuff but I felt this back when playing the closed beta in august.

In our discord, majority (includes me) were complaining about the loot and difficulty — the game was too difficult and too unrewarding. We thought these will be fixed in the early access. But it wasn't.

I'm no longer expecting a fix on loot and difficulty in the full release.

And yes, POE 2 is forced ruthless hc.

One more in the disappointed crowd. If you're gonna do Poe1 players dirty at least give us a league restart add mechanics from older leagues to it, such a crucible.

seems like you guys barely have anything beyond the campaign, art assets and skills/animations.

you still have the entire game to design and I think people want to know whether the peg is going to fit through a PoE 1 shaped hole or one of it's own design.

hmu if you need design advice, I have a lot of thoughts on how you take these pieces and make them into it's own experience that respects and better leverages the new combat mechanics. XD

How about HIRING MORE DEVELOPERS FOR BOTH POE1 AND POE2?

Why stretch everyone so thin over two games?

Very disappointing. At least we have Titan Quest 2 to look forward to this year.
